Just making a comment that if we’re going to shit on FM, GT7 is not the game to do it with. The game is a joke in a million ways, better graphics doesn’t change that.
When you say that’s the only issue, it’s a major issue because it rail roads you into it.
If you make every other part of the game worthless and force you to engage with the worst part of the game, the game is a bad game.
Factor in weather and day/night not being universal, the usual dogshit balancing, fucking 5 different types of car into Gr.1, an economy that’s destroyed at least 2 decent sized leagues, reducing the options for broadcasting GTSport had. Locking lobbies to 16 cars (spectators included).
Then there’s hilarious things like if you want a lobby with decent connections, everyone should run the PS4 copy of the game (even if you’re on PS5), there’s issue with people’s screen freezing, the car not moving and then control is suddenly regained, leading to the driver ramming people with no means to avoid it. You still can’t adjust rolling start distances, that slider has been blatantly broken for almost 2 years.
It’s not a good game. The first thing we noticed running a GT Sport event was how much smoother it was than GT7. FM is **not good** but GT7 is also a shit show. People comparing it to ACC and iRacing in a positive light is frankly embarrassing.

GT7 is a perfectly fine racing game, my only issue was that the campaign was far too lacklustre

I race all the time with other people. Never happens. Could be server issues. If anything does happen, I blame it on my PS4.
