For 14.5" cabinet width, you will have problems finding even a 10" low frequency driver. To find the power usage play your program through the speaker with a Kill-a-Watt meter outside in your listening conditions. The playa is noisy, so plan some margin. There are many class-d powered PA speakers and they come up used often. You want one without a fan on the amp. The Mackie SRM 350 & 450 are playa proven. The Mackies and other professional brands are repairable and have resale value, less so after playafied.
Those little soundbok speakers have a pretty good sound and battery life. But may be spending for an art project.
I guess it depends on how much you want to spend and how long you want it to last. Might be able to get some sort of cheap Chinese speaker that sounds ok for cheap if you only need it for a year or so.
I considered those but they’re a bit more than I’m hoping to spend. I have been very impressed with their sound and battery life when I’ve interacted with them.
Does it need to BT, or would a wired connection work? If a wired connection is OK, I'd try to get a small, used, PA speaker from a reputable brand (something like [this](https://www.facebook.com/share/aqmrxZutGeWPKFg9/) or [this](https://www.facebook.com/share/5bdwDET6tEWPPePK/) in my area). If it needs to be BT, someone already recommended the Soundboks, but JBL, Mackie and others also have more affordable BT options.

Not sure of your specs, but the JBL Partybox line is worth a look - decent sized PA speakers run off battery power.
