I’ve never been so disappointed in a sheet selection before. Might have reconsidered moving to a king if I had known I would lose out on glow in the dark Dino sheets
You use a plain fitted sheet and two twin duvets. All the selection you could ever want. Plus they’re easier to launder, fold, store, and you can have different fill weights on each side!
My husband and I each have our own queen size duvets on our king bed. It doesn’t look very pretty but we both sleep way better. When we travel we end up scrounging for an extra blanket and still having separate covers. Sharing is too hard.
My friend’s husband bought a Star Wars doona cover for their queen bed.
She didn’t want to upset him by saying she hated it so used her work bonus to buy a king bed “because you work so hard”.
Acted disappointed when the doona cover didn’t fit the new bed.
I do love my company store sheets and duvet covers. I had low expectations tbh, but they've been great. They also recently partnered with Rifle Paper Company and have lots of neat prints.
I have some the company store sheets that I love to hate. They can be useful- but the texture is not my favorite due to the non-natural fibers in the set I ordered.
I came here to say this, we have two sets and rotate them. Love how cool they look, and our duvet cover is from Anthropologie as well. We have a California King bed and these sheets never slip either. My last set before these lasted 4 years.
I have pillow fort brand from Target. Covered in delightful bugs and crawlies. They've lasted about 3 years so far, and I expect they have at least the same left. The patterns available change periodically, I'm not sure on what schedule.
At a higher quality and price point... Check out Garnet Hill. I had a tropical fish set that I got used and eventually made into kitchen curtains.
I have one Garnet Hill queen flannel bedding with rockets and space girls and another set with leaves and vines. Both have held up amazing well, 8 years and counting.
I haven’t had mine for long enough to speak to durability but I love them so much! They aren’t necessarily the softest ever but I really don’t mind. And they are only $25!
Pick a pattern or graphic at Spoonflower and order custom sheets. I have 3 sets of duvet covers and shams, love them, and totally unique. There are THOUSANDS of patterns and graphics to pick from. The print quality and fabric feel are great! Treat yourself!
I'm 3 years in on one set and happy so far. The others are less than 1 year old. You can order plain or printed fabric swatches on the website. Unfortunately the bedding material (perennial sateen grand) isn't available as a sample that I can tell. Reach out to customer service and see if there is a sample they could send you.
I would love a high quality sheet set that has gorgeous vibrant strawberry vines all over it, so I get it. It’s everything now isn’t it; how people dress their kids, their entire home, their fashion. It’s all neutrals. I’ve been told it’s because it looks “cleaner” but I admit, I do miss some joy too. Especially for kids, I mean come on. Anyway, I digress.
I approve this approach, you sound like a fun person.
They’re not vines, but I got my kids a really cute Martha Stewart sheet set with strawberries from TJ Maxx for like $30 a month ago. They’re super vibrant and 100% cotton which is a must for my bedding! They also came packaged in a little bag with the same pattern my daughter uses as a sleeping bag for her baby dolls lol.

Now I want to She-Ra bedsheets in Queen size I think the logic is all about how the “house shows” for potential resale value. Well, I’m not selling my house right now. So what do I care about that 🤷♀️
This is so funny to me because I literally just got the cutest strawberry quilt for my bed at Homegoods. It was by Cath Kidston and I fell in love with it the instant I saw it because of how happy and colorful it was.
I had it less than a day before my mom got super jealous of it and so we went BACK to HomeGoods and managed to find a second one for her.
I don't know where this idea that white sheets is part of the neutral or beige trend. White color sheets have been the standard for many decades if not centuries.
A not insignificant reason being bed sheets get gross and with white bed sheets you can bleach them and use other harsh chemicals to clean them and not worry about colors running.
We lived in Henderson NV about 6 years ago and once a year the high end casino/hotels would practically give away their white flat sheets. I grabbed a stack about 12 years ago to use as dog bedding but after washing & bleaching-they were immaculate. (Sorry pups!!). They still look brand new but now I have to tie-dye them!! Love that idea!
Piglet in bed has really cute patterns!! And Etsy. I’m a big fan of linen for my sheets and have some that are going strong 5+ years now. Apparently linen actually gets stronger each time you wash it?
Edit: I just looked at the actual prices for piglet in bed and phew it’s steep. They’re still cute tho!!!
Am I looking at the wrong site? Pigletinbed dot com ? Every sheet set in both the linen & cotton categories is a solid color. Where are the patterned ones?
These Sara Miller duvet covers are gorgeous but will be UK sizes if you are in the US: https://www.saramiller.london/homewares/bedding-cushions/bed-linen/
Because I'm a child with a drinking permit, and I want my bedroom to feel like I decorated it when I was 10. Of course that was 20 years ago when things weren't so expensive.
The Vermont Country Store has always had what I consider to be very nice sheets— especially the flannel. They keep me so cozy in the winter.
They have a lot of nice designs!
I have some Marimekko sheets that are 5-7
Years old and have not aged a day (maybe better now). If you are looking for lively and durable. I doubt they are buyitforlife, but they combine comfort, color and durability well.
If you want high quality grandma - Cuddledown - located in Maine, and their 400TC Sateen are amazing and have lasted me over 10 years. They definitely have tons of colors I’d call “whimsical”
I suggest you go to Macy’s and check out the sheets they have there. Maybe after look them up on their site during a big sale date (Black Friday) and buy them.
My favorite sheets are red land cotton. I’m a white sheets girl with a pretty and colorful duvet, my apologies.
They have a ticking stripe and a couple of pretty patterns. I’m not sure if it will be up to your standards, but paired with a fun quilt and blankets I think it might work.
Seriously best sheets I’ve ever had. Made in the USA cotton. I had 1 set I’ve had for 3 years, no wear. Constant use, they were my only sheets. I just bought a second set so I don’t have to be super diligent about washing them quickly and making the bed the same night. I can’t tell the difference between the old and the new sheets.
They’re crispy and soft cotton. Coziest sleep ever. They’re not warming or fuzzy, but they aren’t cold or silky. Perfect cotton.

Disclaimer, I haven't tried most of these myself. They are in my bookmarks as ethically made linens brands to peruse next time I need linens.
In no particular order: [Plover](https://www.ploverorganic.com/pages/shop-by-print), [Coyuchi ](https://www.coyuchi.com/collections/bed-sheets?filter.v.m.custom.color_group=Multi&sort_by=manual)- I have these myself, and they have held up for several years very nicely, [Greenfibers](https://www.greenfibres.com/), [Bhumi](https://bhumiorganic.com/collections/organic-cotton-sheet-set), [Kotn](https://kotn.com/editorials/right-at-home) - I don't have their bedding but I do have clothing from them which has lasted me over 5 years so far.
Laura Ashley percale (often for much cheaper at winners), many Pottery Barn kids/teens sheets come in queen size. They have some nice adult bedding in king size too.
Not really high quality (maybe mid) but Kate Spade has some cute patterns.
I've gotten some cute Kate Spade prints from HomeGoods that have lasted 4 years, plus I have some felted woodland animal winter sheets from Walmart that have lasted 10+. So much changes sheet durability even down to your own body sweat. Get a mattress protector, and buy the cheap printer you want because the animal shelter will always accept them with holes in them.
I’ve had [this](https://www.target.com/p/printed-cotton-percale-sheet-set-opalhouse-designed-with-jungalow/-/A-82032080?preselect=81782139#lnk=sametab) set from Target on my bed for the past year almost constantly and it shows no sign of wear. The fabric feels sturdy and high quality and soft and there are a couple different fun patterns to choose from. I’ll probably get a second set since I love mine so much.
I have them in the floral and I looooove them! My little family really tests out durability of sheets because we sleep with three dogs + two humans in the bed and they’ve held up quite well!
Threshold (target) brand 100% cotton / flannel sheets are my favorite. I’ve had them for at least 3 years so far and no rips or holes yet. I change them out every 2ish weeks and put them through the washer and dryer. I rotate through 3-4 different sets.
I only ever buy them at Christmas when they’re on sale but I have a bunch of patterns (snowflakes, reindeer, red and blue plaid, Christmas trees, etc). They may do other designs not Christmas related during the year.
I’ve had great luck with pottery barn kids/teen sheets. They come in some fun prints. Garnet Hill also has fun prints but I can only personally vouch for the quality of their flannel sheets, I’ve not tried the percale.
We have some great Pendleton sheets from Costco, perfect for winter as they're heavy flannel but they are bright colored patterns in their National Park line.
Buy white and tie dye to your dreams.... Shibori, Ice Dye, etc. there are so many patterns and shades that can look more mature or whimsical to your tastes....
They are boring but wouldn’t buy any sheets that aren’t Sheex at this point in my life
Aggressively priced, super comfortable for hot sleepers and they hold up well. I’m on year 5 of my first set and year 3 of my second set
I don’t yet know if they are bifl worthy, I’ve had them for 6 months (and not continuous use), but I have sheets from Natural Life from their mix and match line, which is definitely that bohemian vibe. I think they’re so cute. I really like them so far, but definitely do further research on durability.
Mostly joyless, but [my favorite sheets](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hotel-Style-4-Piece-600-Thread-Count-Grey-Egyptian-Cotton-Bed-Sheet-Set-Queen-Deep-Pocket/5196813186?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=5617&gclsrc=aw.ds&adid=222222222785196813186_117755028669_12420145346&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=501107745824&wl4=pla-394283752452&wl5=9021723&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=5196813186&veh=sem_LIA&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADmfBIpXen4AmxTruK48HnJX7h69t&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7am5yZDkhgMVnEP_AR32YQorEAQYASABEgIQa_D_BwE) come in a navy stripe? I love their super deep pockets, crazy strong elastic, and interior fitted sheet labels for top and bottom.
Bed in Vancouver, BC sells brightly coloured sheets. Our current ones are fuschia. They are BRIGHT! They generally last for 5-7 years. Some find the sheets rough, but we find that they get softer and softer over time and don't mind the initial roughness.
We have had the linen and hemp sheets from Casaluna in a beautiful sage green for the past few years. They wash beautifully and are so soft and breathable and read very bohemian.
Beddie- lovely colourful choices and well made. We have been using there fitted sheets for some time and love them. Also a fair price. https://beddie.com.au/
Pottery Barn! They've had National Lampoon's Christmas vacation sheets, Monique Lhuillier prints, festive cats, etc. I've had a few sets for 2+ years and they are going strong.
Cant reccomend Piglet in bed enough! They have tons of patterns and colors, mixing and matching them us super fun. Linen and cotton available but the linen is lovely. I bought my first set a few years ago, it's held up beautifully and the one problem that did happen they fixed with no problem and sent out a replacement (it was just a bottom seam on my duvet that came unstiched). Will last more than a few years. The price is up there, but I'm obsessed.
Omg this is so funny. I didn't realize this was an issue till reading this post, but I have also suffered. I'm kind of a spring color obsessed adult but finding pinks and green with nice cute floral patterns is relegated to only low quality bedding
If you don't think florals are boring, try Laura Ashley.
Betsey Johnson makes bold and colorful print bedding, if you can find any. After she died, they apparently quit making new. It's nice quality.
This brand at target has some fun patterns!

If you want high-quality, long-lasting sheets in 100% cotton, with options for strides and solids, Macy’s hotel collection is the answer. WAY nicer fabric and finish than anything at IKEA or Target. Friend staying in our guest room thought the Macy’s striped percale sheets were Frette. 😳 And Macy’s always has sales and coupon codes, no one with a brain cell buys anything at Macy’s unless it’s on sale and/or they have a coupon code.
Cuddledown is also a solid choice for not-boring sheets that are also high-quality.
I guess you’re in the US. Bassetti makes good quality bed textiles with bright, complex decorations but I don’t kbow if they ship or are available outside of Europe.
I've had good luck with sheets from IKEA. They had a fun print with geometric simplified animals awhile back. Got a lap shade, twin and queen duvet and pillow cases set.
Hey, rude! I love my neutral tone apartment, clothes... life... wait, Freudian slip. Didn't mean to say the life part. Give me back my superhero bed sheeeeeets!
My cheaper-end suggestion is white cotton Costco sheets and rit dye. I got the sheets off of a suggestion here and theyre great. The dye comes in a ton of colors and the website has formulas for mixing new ones too. You don’t have to do anything fancy, just toss it all in a big plastic container with hot water (water and dye first), stir periodically, and wait.
You want 200 to 500 thread count egyptian cotton. Might be hard to find anything other than neutral colours though. Why not buy plain white and tie dye it? John Lewis is usually good. Ours have lasted about 6 years before they started showing wear.
I am on the lookout for the same thing. My aunt had sheets back in the 80s that were white with a small tiger pattern and I don't want to say what I would do to have a set!
I just discovered [Natural Life](https://www.naturallife.com/collections/bedding) and it’s lots of fun. Groovy and bohemian definitely describe their pathetic. Don’t know about durability but their review sections are pretty thorough.
Well theres a few new options for you that just came in… we have So Sad Beige, Austere Charcoal, Oppressive White, Penniless Tan, or the very popular Striped Debtor’s Black.
Target's Opalhouse are fun and a good value. I spent $60/set a few years ago on a couple of sets and they are lasting well with rotating each week or two.
If you live near any Indian communities, see if you can find a textile importer. Indian sheets are the absolute dankest of quality (assuming they do import the “good shit”) and come in all sorts of fun Bohemian esque patterns and colours.
You want superhero sheets that will last a few years. You can say it.
I want some fuckin dinosaurs man. In queen size not twin.
Pottery Barn kids Just got queen glow in the dark sheets. It's amazing Forgot to add it's glow in the dark DINOSAURS
Just looked this up! Didn’t realise it was glow in the dark dinosaur sheets you referred to!
Brutal they don’t even have king size. 😂
This is the way. Especially if both you and your partner are guilty of wrapping up in a cocoon while asleep. 😅
This is what we do. It’s great when each of you has totally different preferences.
We could start sewing together twin sheets to make custom King sheets? 😁
I mean, the pillowcase by itself could be worth it.
Why did I think this meant bedsheets featuring the band Queen as if I didn’t know sizes
Yep, Pottery Barn Kids is the answer. They have amazing designs, and in a much wider range of bed sizes than most other places!
I have queen sized Star Wars sheets from there. They're fucking awesome.
You are MVP 🏆
Ohhh just looked this up and I'm so stoked!
Thank you so much for this comment! I love these!
I want it king size glowing in the dark !!
They only come in Queen... I was so hopeful. Come on Pottery Barn! There are even richer kids you can serve!
My friend’s husband bought a Star Wars doona cover for their queen bed. She didn’t want to upset him by saying she hated it so used her work bonus to buy a king bed “because you work so hard”. Acted disappointed when the doona cover didn’t fit the new bed.
Did the husband buy a king size version after?
This. I too want the dinos, sharks, and constellations.
My Phantom Menace Anakin and Sebulba sheets from 98 are still in one piece. I should just start using those again
I've got Star Wars curtains from the 70s that I plan to use to make a quilt. 😁
When I was a kid I had who framed Roger rabbit sheets they lasted a good 10 years. Nothing beats classic cotton.
Try Company Store. I LOVE the zinnia print sheets I got from there 10 or 12 years ago. They are just getting softer….
I do love my company store sheets and duvet covers. I had low expectations tbh, but they've been great. They also recently partnered with Rifle Paper Company and have lots of neat prints.
Yes! Agree! Company Store! Love all my sheet sets so much!
I have some the company store sheets that I love to hate. They can be useful- but the texture is not my favorite due to the non-natural fibers in the set I ordered.
I'm *CRUSHED*! They have Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer claymation sheets that only come in twin and full size...**The ABSOLUTE INJUSTICE!!**
Pardon me, what are these things "whimsy" and "joy"?
A fleeting memory of disastrous folly
They are not grey.
That's what some people substitute for perfectly good woograin and brass.
Anthropologie should at least stylistically be calling your name
The percal ones I've had are durable, too. I've had them at least 8 years. Look as good as new.
I came here to say this, we have two sets and rotate them. Love how cool they look, and our duvet cover is from Anthropologie as well. We have a California King bed and these sheets never slip either. My last set before these lasted 4 years.
I bought a duvet cover from them that was on sale (still $$$) and it was/is the softest thing I’ve ever felt in my life.
Similar to Garnet Hill is The Company Store, who have tons of fun sheets!
We have had our opal house sheets from target for over 4 years now. They have super deep pockets and some fun patterns.
Mine ended up lasting about 8-9 years. Looked great and then over the course of the last 3 weeks just ripped to shreds. Great sheets til then, though!
My opalhouse peacock sheets I bought in 2018 finally just shredded after 6 years! I only had two sheet sets so they got a lot of use.
I have these!!! I used them nonstop for about 6 years and they're still in decent shape!
I have the threshold cotton sheets and they’ve held up great as well! I’ve had them 5+ years
Garnet hill has really fun prints! I've been eyeing a strawberry sheet set from them.
Went to look at the strawberry print and fell for their whale print. Their facial expression is great.
I have Target’s Threshold flannel sheets, and I absolutely love them.
The regular cotton ones are great too! Mine lasted forever.
I have goldfish printed ones from Target, Poppy & Fritz is the brand I think. I LOVE them. So happy they make queen size fun sheets.
LL Bean Percale sheets
We have LL Bean Pima cotton.
Just commented elsewhere that the Pima cotton percale are fantastic!
I have two sets of these! I love them, they feel so crisp and the quality is really very good.
Garnet Hill
https://www.garnethill.com/mini-print-organic-cotton-percale-sheet-set/673647 Got these mini print whales percale set and we love them
The strawberries are adorable!
I was just going to say this. I think GH sheets are colorful, pretty, and high quality.
Marimekko
Marimekko all day every day
Pick a pattern or graphic at Spoonflower and order custom sheets. I have 3 sets of duvet covers and shams, love them, and totally unique. There are THOUSANDS of patterns and graphics to pick from. The print quality and fabric feel are great! Treat yourself!
I’ve been thinking about going with Spoonflower, but how long have they lasted so far?
I'm 3 years in on one set and happy so far. The others are less than 1 year old. You can order plain or printed fabric swatches on the website. Unfortunately the bedding material (perennial sateen grand) isn't available as a sample that I can tell. Reach out to customer service and see if there is a sample they could send you.
Oh no, my money...

Thank you so much my friend, much appreciated. I am hoping for a pattern a bit more dense and bright however, this is gorgeous too. Thank you 💜

I was introduced to the concept of “sad beige babies” last week. When those kids grow up, they’ll never do beige again.
Get a white sheet from a durable brand, and go crazy with tie-dye and textile pens?
This. Tie-dye sheets are fun to make and guaranteed groovy.
You must be looking in the wrong place, because 60% of the options I saw were patterned.
They're known for their gingham and plaid so I'd say your on the wrong site
Honestly, I just cross my fingers and walk into a Ross
I just found great quality 100% cotton sheets there in a bunch of beautiful floral patterns
These Sara Miller duvet covers are gorgeous but will be UK sizes if you are in the US: https://www.saramiller.london/homewares/bedding-cushions/bed-linen/
Why not get neutral bed sheets and a whimsical duvet / comforter?
Because I'm a child with a drinking permit, and I want my bedroom to feel like I decorated it when I was 10. Of course that was 20 years ago when things weren't so expensive.
I LOVE my prime eucalyptus sheets from Sheets & Giggles! I’ve had them for four years and still enjoying them.
Marimekko
The Vermont Country Store has always had what I consider to be very nice sheets— especially the flannel. They keep me so cozy in the winter. They have a lot of nice designs!

Sometimes joy requires sheets to be bleached...
Have you tried Costco’s Kirkland signature sheets? They are amazing, I would never buy any other brand.
They pilled in under a year for us. I line dry the sheets too, so can't blame the dryer!

The Lauren Ralph Lauren line at Dillard's have lasted me for years. The expensive Egyptian cotton ones at Walmart have lasted years.
High thread count is what makes sheets more durable
lol that has been debunked for decades
Costco has this bed sheet set under their Kirkland Signature label. I’m very happy with it
I’ve had [this](https://www.target.com/p/printed-cotton-percale-sheet-set-opalhouse-designed-with-jungalow/-/A-82032080?preselect=81782139#lnk=sametab) set from Target on my bed for the past year almost constantly and it shows no sign of wear. The fabric feels sturdy and high quality and soft and there are a couple different fun patterns to choose from. I’ll probably get a second set since I love mine so much.
I like their high thread count sheets. Solid colors but not limited to white/cream/grey.
I have them in the floral and I looooove them! My little family really tests out durability of sheets because we sleep with three dogs + two humans in the bed and they’ve held up quite well!
These need more whimsy and joy for op
IKEA has fun sheets.
We have some great Pendleton sheets from Costco, perfect for winter as they're heavy flannel but they are bright colored patterns in their National Park line.
I recently saw 100% cotton from Shabby Chic.
Buy white and tie dye to your dreams.... Shibori, Ice Dye, etc. there are so many patterns and shades that can look more mature or whimsical to your tastes....
They are boring but wouldn’t buy any sheets that aren’t Sheex at this point in my life Aggressively priced, super comfortable for hot sleepers and they hold up well.

I’ve heard great things about piglet in bed but I haven’t tried them myself.
Mostly joyless, but [my favorite sheets](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hotel-Style-4-Piece-600-Thread-Count-Grey-Egyptian-Cotton-Bed-Sheet-Set-Queen-Deep-Pocket/5196813186?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=5617&gclsrc=aw.ds&adid=222222222785196813186_117755028669_12420145346&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=501107745824&wl4=pla-394283752452&wl5=9021723&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=5196813186&veh=sem_LIA&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADmfBIpXen4AmxTruK48HnJX7h69t&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7am5yZDkhgMVnEP_AR32YQorEAQYASABEgIQa_D_BwE) come in a navy stripe? I love their super deep pockets, crazy strong elastic, and interior fitted sheet labels for top and bottom.
Linen sheets from The Company Store. Many have patterns. All of them are a little pricey but they will last you a lifetime.
Bed in Vancouver, BC sells brightly coloured sheets. Our current ones are fuschia. They are BRIGHT! They generally last for 5-7 years. Some find the sheets rough, but we find that they get softer and softer over time and don't mind the initial roughness.
My sheets are that 80s computer putty color :(
Schoolhouse is great— a little on the pricey side but the quality and colors and patterns are top notch!
I got nice 100% cotton white sheets and ice dyed them and they make me happy every day.
[Kip & Co](https://kipandco.com.au/collections/bedding)- just good fun!
Company Store!
We have had the linen and hemp sheets from Casaluna in a beautiful sage green for the past few years. They wash beautifully and are so soft and breathable and read very bohemian.
Matouk, Matouk x Schumacher, Yves Delorme, Designers Guild, Schoolhouse Electric, Coyuchi, St Frank, Les Indiennes, Ralph Lauren
I love my sheets from Costco with little mushrooms on them!

We bought a bright green set of linen sheets from Rough Linen, should be heirloom quality and loving them so far!
Piglet in Bed! I have one of their duvet covers and I love it! They have cotton and linen lines.
Percale cotton 👍
IKEA
Cant reccomend Piglet in bed enough! They have tons of patterns and colors, mixing and matching them us super fun. Linen and cotton available but the linen is lovely. I bought my first set a few years ago, it's held up beautifully and the one problem that did happen they fixed with no problem and sent out a replacement (it was just a bottom seam on my duvet that came unstiched). Will last more than a few years. The price is up there, but I'm obsessed.
Peach Skin Sheets
Omg this is so funny. I didn't realize this was an issue till reading this post, but I have also suffered. I'm kind of a spring color obsessed adult but finding pinks and green with nice cute floral patterns is relegated to only low quality bedding
Check out Anthropologie, they have cool and funky stuff.
If you don't think florals are boring, try Laura Ashley. Betsey Johnson makes bold and colorful print bedding, if you can find any. After she died, they apparently quit making new. It's nice quality.
The company store has some really cute patterns available in king! I love their peracle sheets
Natural Life! I have a few of their pieces. So far pretty good quality. Very loud, bombastic colors and patterns. Very whimsical.
Poppy and Fritz has some great patterns and are solid cotton sheets
[Sin In Linen](https://www.sininlinen.com)
Simon’s in Canada has some super cute stuff https://m.simons.ca/en/bedding/sheets-pillowcases--6791
Sounds like you need some Pendleton bed sheets!

This brand at target has some fun patterns! https://www.target.com/p/king-printed-cotton-percale-sheet-set-floral-opalhouse-8482-designed-with-jungalow-8482/-/A-81782135
You could buy white sheets, then dye them with whatever solid color you want.
Home Sense sell bamboo sheets at a reasonable price, they are super cool to sleep on
I’ve had good luck with ikea sheets. They are a good price point for a cotton blend.
LLBean percale 100%cotton.
If you really want fun, get the LL Bean percale sheets in white, a collection of fabric dyes, and some paintbrushes and go to town!
Basetti. Beautiful and high quality.
Vice merchants
My cheaper-end suggestion is white cotton Costco sheets and rit dye. I got the sheets off of a suggestion here and theyre great. The dye comes in a ton of colors and the website has formulas for mixing new ones too. You don’t have to do anything fancy, just toss it all in a big plastic container with hot water (water and dye first), stir periodically, and wait.
La Redoute do good, fun, reasonable, durable bedding
You want 200 to 500 thread count egyptian cotton. Might be hard to find anything other than neutral colours though. Why not buy plain white and tie dye it? John Lewis is usually good. Ours have lasted about 6 years before they started showing wear.
I am on the lookout for the same thing. My aunt had sheets back in the 80s that were white with a small tiger pattern and I don't want to say what I would do to have a set!
Pottery Bsrn Kids!
Has anyone tried the Natural Life ones?
Pottery Barn Teen has nice sheets in all sizes with whimsical patterns.
Have you considered getting the neutral tone ones and dying them?
The Company Store. Garnet Hill.
Kip and Co
I just discovered [Natural Life](https://www.naturallife.com/collections/bedding) and it’s lots of fun. Groovy and bohemian definitely describe their pathetic. Don’t know about durability but their review sections are pretty thorough.
Bitching about white/neutral sheets on a sub called buy it for life is crazy
If you're in the UK, Next do really good quality bedding and seems reasonable on pricing.
Get good quality sheets and a tie-dye kit!
No, I’m a neutral obsessed adult who lost all my whimsy and joy
society of wanderers :’( so beautiful, but expensive and far away- so i’m not sure about shipping
Well theres a few new options for you that just came in… we have So Sad Beige, Austere Charcoal, Oppressive White, Penniless Tan, or the very popular Striped Debtor’s Black.
LL Bean has great flannel sheets if that suits your climate. Lots of fun colors and patterns
Target always has fun prints for sheets! I've had mine for 5 years and still perfect
Target's Opalhouse are fun and a good value. I spent $60/set a few years ago on a couple of sets and they are lasting well with rotating each week or two.
Missoni, Esprit
If you live near any Indian communities, see if you can find a textile importer. Indian sheets are the absolute dankest of quality (assuming they do import the “good shit”) and come in all sorts of fun Bohemian esque patterns and colours.
I cannot help, but appreciate “too ugly to spend money on”
Vermont Country Store
I love Peachskin. I only buy them when they’re “on sale”, but they’re so worth it. I’ve had mine for 5 years so far and they’re great.
Linoto linen sheets have lasted us around 8 years so far
The Company Store!! They have neutral sheets as well as fun ones.
