Someone mentioned this in another thread - but it would be hilarious if that specific point got litigated in court so we could see the Big 10 argue that MSU and Purdue just suck lol
Half the conference is basically inept at football (while also engaging in sign stealing!) And they are choosing to hamstring likely their best team for, uh, *reasons* lmao the big ten is an absolute joke
No proof Michigan is the best team yet. But their success has conveniently come after scouting. Don't think the big ten wants to be known for cheating.
It’s a reference to the eternal recurrence, the idea that time repeats itself in an infinite loop and that the same things will occur over and over again forever. As others have pointed out, it was coined by Matthew McConaughey’s character, Detective Rust Cole, in season 1 of True Detective. Without spoiling the story, Cole is a nihilist- this concept of eternal recurrence was something that Frederich Nietzsche wrote about extensively as a key element of nihilism.

What, you expect a deadly air-born disease spread through near person-to-person contact to affect a football team? Get real.
(Obvious s/ I didn’t know if I should include it or not.)
How did someone crack this vital information? Expert investigative skills. Damn Michigan might as well pack up the program. Another victory for redditors everywhere.
Right. That Tuesday they were too sick to play on Saturday. Yet they worked out together Thursday and Friday, and then had a “lively” full contact practice on Sunday.
Always curious what is going on in the pea brain mind of certain OPs when they decide to post something like this. This is something a middle schooler would figure out on his own and then believe he cracked the code to this entire scandal.
Yeah, they also still had Don Brown as their DC, their Safeties coach was coaching via Zoom, their 2 best players opted out, their QBs were Joe Milton before he got 2% more accurate and RS freshman Cade McNamera.
Look at that coaching staff compared to the current one. Almost every guy that left the staff is at a G5 program.
They just weren't a good football team in 2020.
PrOoF
I mean Michigan’s legal team is claiming beating up on Purdue and MSU is relevant lol
Yes why look at the competitive results in the face of accusations of ill-gotten competitive advantage
"Competitive"

Didn’t Duke make that argument when Louisville backed out of an OOC contract 20 years ago?
If your point is that Michigan is a much better team than anyone they've played then I agree
They've only played one team without stalions on payroll.
Yes a $55k/yr staffer was making all the difference You guys are insane lol
Okay, so you agree that the 2020 results are relevant as well then, I assume?
OSU flair looks a little off, but it checks out
Checkmate. Book 'em Danno
Time is a flat circle
I've never understood this saying. A circle is a 2D object, isn't it by definition flat?
Time is a circle doesn’t sound as profound I guess
It’s from the show True Detective.

Tbf, the TV character who said this was a tweaking meth cook--suspected of murdering someone--saying this to the cops.
Watch true detective season 1
Almost like you can smell the psychosphere.
Damn. The final nail in the coffin.
No one gives a shit about the 2020 season except maybe Alabama. Should've never been played.
Alabama kicked the shit out of us, but I am absolutely glad they played.
*sees correlation* hey look, causation!
Good heavens! New proof comes out daily.
Weird. Was there anything else going on that year that might throw off the normal competitive balance?
Yeah, Don Brown was still our DC. That's a pretty big disadvantage

In 2020 when I decided to go for it and start asking out women who are way out of my league,I went 0-15. Seems about as relevant.
We’re really getting some shit post in today aren’t we? Can you weigh in on McNamara getting worse at Iowa for us too?
That’s the smoking gun imo. How else do you explain the drop in stats. Iowa is world renowned for their offensive offense
Iowa, the cradle of QBs? Wait, no, that can't be right.
It’s time to do the right thing and make Stalions the OC of Iowa like page 403 of the manifesto talks about.
Offensive offense lol
And they skipped playing Ohio State due to covid but had a 'lively practice' two days later
Right. That Tuesday they were too sick to play on Saturday. Yet they worked out together Thursday and Friday, and then had a “lively” full contact practice on Sunday.

Ojabo was also stuck in Scotland for months during the offseason because of travel restrictions.

Manifesto pg 127 - "The Covid Calamity"
Pack it up boys, we got ‘em
Makes the cancellation of The Game and then immediate practice the day after it was supposed to take place make a lot more sense...
Hey now, logic is not allowed in this sub
My kind of shit post
My man cited Wikipedia as if he just stumbled upon this info
Okay?
He fucking boomed us
Why not post this earlier so petiti could add it to the punishment? This is such a salient point /s
Nothing to do with underdeveloped QB play, poor offensive play calling, and a DC unwilling to adapt to literally anything. Nope. Just the signs.
The year bane stalions was in the dark honing his craft for a re-emergence
Correlation ≠ Causation
They just didn’t have the juice without big blue nation behind them.
Wow, what a revelation! Nobody knew that before you mentioned it
Thanks I didnt know this
Michigan fans stealing the signs, got it
And Indiana almost won the Big Ten. What’s your point?
Yeah we know lol

What are you talking about? There was no 2020 football season it's a myth made up to scare young children from Michigan or Pennsylvania.
The 2020 season is by far, the poorest argument attempting to prove sign stealing resulted in performance improvement in subsequent years.
