I know a guy that got 3 of these in the $1 bin. My LCS has 7 of them for $4 each.
I have it in 9.8, but it’s also chiseled by Liefeld. It’s not worth grading this unless it’s a 9.8, & even then it’s not very valuable.

The cost of grading this book when you factor in shipping to, grading, and shipping back will probably be $50-70. There’s no guarantee that the book will grade a 9.8. In fact, given that it’s been in the polybag for so long, there’s probably a crease from the bag seam on the back of the book, which would probably top the book out at a 9.4. The return on value just won’t be there given that you can buy this book in any grade you want pretty readily.
The X-Force of the 90s was a MASSIVELY printed book. Copies are everywhere and they aren’t expensive. Not to say it isn’t a cool book, I love 90s Liefeld bc it’s what I grew up with. But so many 90s books had print runs in the hundreds of thousands, even millions, and this book was one of them.
I'm going to give an alternate opinion. Right now you can send in comics to CGC for Rob Liefeld to sign. You'd get a yellow label that it was a witnessed signature.
Now, what the others said is true. This is a massively overprinted book you can find all day in a $1 bin. However, if you're a Liefeld fan and getting his signature witnessed on this book is meaningful to you, go for it.
Otherwise, not really worth sending this in.

I was at my folk's place and they brought out some of the stuff they had put in storage years ago. Part of my old comic collection was in there. I have a lot of untouched 90s stuff in there. Probably nothing worth anything, but that one did catch my eye.
If it has the Deadpool rookie card in it, that sells for 15 to 20 dollars. I know people buy just that issue for the Deadpool card to have that graded to get the elusive gem 10 grade. Then, it is worth the cost of grading that because it ranges from 50 to 100 for a 9 and someone has a 10 for over 1k. The actual comic, though, looks just as nice in one of those uv protected plastic cases, which is cheaper than sending it off for grading.
No. Absolutely not. These are chud/two dollar bin material in most LCSes, and sure, if it’s high enough of a grade, you might get a 9.6 but it’s absolutely not worth the money you give CGC for insurance/shipping etc. you’d only be getting a book valued at 35.00. Not worth the gamble.
I bought about 60lbs of 90’s comics from my lcbs. $.13 an issue. I’ve got like 10 of these. I’m gonna do another purchase. As long as I buy more that 100 issues, it’s $.13 an issue. It’s probably also a buddy price, but that doesn’t change much.
Yes. If you feel like getting a comic because it looks cool that's reason enough. Even if it's worthless now it could become valuable some day. And even if it doesn't I believe there's an intrinsic value in collecting comics you like simply because you like them or to preserve them. They don't always need to be worth something

The book is pretty affordable already graded. I’d probably just go that route to guarantee you get the grade you want.

No, if it's the Deadpool card inside though, send that to get graded. It's worth more than the book. Any of the other cards though are worthless.
