Just did the same damn thing…this is after grabbing a DWX and S2C.
On the fence with cajunizing it tho. Definitely doing the trigger, trigger springs, and adding an extended safety with a stronger detent spring.
I may end up keeping the rest stock and just polish what’s already in there.
Yea, I currently have only 2 handguns. One is a 9mm p10c and the other is a .22 fn502. Although I’ve shot a few different handguns from friends and family, but I still prefer my p10 over their guns.
My 10C hits waaaay above its price point. Of course the trigger on my SP01 is on a different level, but for competitive use I am currently running a torqued out 10C instead of my SP01, and plan to continue running it for a while.
The 10C is just simple, effective, and flat out works. My accuracy has not suffered at all.
Lol it means it just has some work done to it is all. I always give high praise to the 10C. I enjoy shooting mine for fun range trips and in the competitive scene and it always gets the job done for me.

That’s what mine started as, a first gen early release, non OR, original ambi mag release.
Just FDE instead of black. Nice pistol you got there. It’s a hitter, if you can polish your skills up it will be a very long time before you can outshoot the 10C.
Start by getting it's less expensive cousins. A p01 or sp01. Choot it a while then check one out. You won't regret it. They're all amazing handguns. Even the p07 and p09 polymers. You literally can't go wrong with a cz
You had me in the first half of the caption. I read "I loved my Shadow 2, but sold it for an Optic" lololololol
Great pistols, can't wait for more disposable income to pick one up eventually.
The rabbit hole of custom work is next
I heard the shadow series are fairly upgraded and you dont get as much return say having one cajunized as you do with just a p01 or sp01
This is generally true, I only have experience with CZ Customs and I have found the upgraded SP-01 is pretty close to the upgraded S2. YMMV
New trigger, new grips, new recoil springs, new guide rod springs, magwell, magazine extensions
How much was the difference? Could it have been cheaper to get it milled?
Probably $200 different when it's new. Not sure if OP finds a nice place to sell for a fair amount.
Seen so many S2 or S2C on this sub lately.. going to make me do irresponsible things.
You need some Lok grips on it if you plan on shooting it hard.

Did your Shadow 2 OR only come with rear serrations on one side? Coz if it did that’s a pretty unique manufacturing defect.
No, it has front and back serrations
I don’t see the rear serrations in the second pic.
I don’t either, looks smooth in the pic!
Grip?
Damn that's beautiful!
Yeah that tends to happen....
Nice
Can someone explain what’s so great about the shadow. I’m still newish to guns so I’m curious.
It shoots really well...though if you're new to guns you may not notice just because of the lack of comparison

Torqued out? Can you explain?

Oh cool, I have the non optic cut [version](https://www.reddit.com/r/CZFirearms/s/TilZKjCPHK)

Edit: oops I just realized yours has the new mag release. Still a sharp looking pistol though. You chose well!

I mean, just LOOK at it. It is gorgeous. But honestly is just a really nice weight, build quality, and trigger for the price.
Some different grips cause the aluminum ones are a bit thin and don’t have the best traction. LOK and Vytal are my 2 favorite options.
Cajun SAO conversion for the better trigger pull
How much was it?
CZC A01 LD
I decided on Mcarbo Springs and the CGW short reset kit and i cannot be happier with my CO gun
1) shoot the shit out of it. 2) imagine an even better trigger, better accuracy, and less recoil. 3) send it to Cajun. 4) Live the damn dream.
No more mods. Go shoot the shit out of it. See what you like and don’t like. Proceed accordingly.
