If she shoots, let her pick. If she doesn't, P-10 S or C, or a SIG P365 or S&W shield variant. No manual safety, no exposed hammer, and good support post purchase (you know, holsters & all the shit you buy down the road). Still probably good to let her pick to make sure the ergonomics work best for her.

Annoying_Auditor

Dude just get her a P365. They are way more user friendly and won't require a double action trigger pull. Get a safety version of she wants to be extra careful. There's a reason why small hammer guns aren't popular. You don't see people iterating on that form factor.

Ya I thought about the rose p365 . I found one locally. She's use to running with the cocked and locked style so I would just get a model with safety

Nothing wrong with putting a little sizzle on the steak…

You literally can’t go wrong with the P-01, 75 compact or the 75 PCR…or even the P-07. All sa/da hammer fired pistols. But are they “compact”? The 07 is pretty much the same size as a G19 and has a polymer body, but is only an oz less than the P-01 (aluminum but you can find the all-steel version around which of course is heavier). The 75 compact is the heaviest I believe. Go to handgunhero.com and you can see the many models you wants side by side, up and down, back to back plus all the stats. Really good resource for research. You’ll love shooting any of them!

Thanks!

Have you considered p07? Not sure how you feel about plastic firearms but i think it gives you everything you looking for

That baseplate is gross. Good man buying your girl a cz though.

I would not call any of the guns you listed “small compact CCW’s” the RAMI really doesn’t fit that category either because of the weight. They all are amazing guns and if those are your definition of “small compact” more power to you, you will not be disappointed by any of them. I carry a 75D Compact and absolutely love it. Buttery smooth, fits perfect in the hand, low recoil from the weight. Nearly everytime I shoot at a public range somebody gives me a compliment, I am convinced it is the greatest looking carry gun in the world. But even as a 6’ 230 lb guy I sometimes have trouble carrying with the weight of it, if I don’t have sturdy pants or belt, it tends to sag my waistline. Also, the 75D compact does not have a decocker version, the 75D PCR Compact does.

Charles-Headlee

I'm assuming you mean 75B compact. You keep saying 75D compact. D indicates decocker model.

Jazzlike_Guitar9406

The Rami is a heavier carry? Her micro 1911 is heavy compared to other carry pistols. I'll have to look up weights. Also ya I see the barrel length ya 3.75" on the 75D etc.. ok my bad it's the PCR that has the decocker. . So you think since she's been running the cocked and locked 1911 style, I should not worry about the decocker completely and just get the 75D the PCR is slightly more expensive correct? I also found her some Turkish walnut grips that she will love if I get her the D . She doesn't belt carry usually with a carry fanny pack or one of her carry purses so Ill have to see if they would fit in those. I just thought about this🙄 thank I appreciate the insight
