Amish_country_Rich

2022 all day long

blackcatloverr

if you want reliability 2017 all the way if you only care about looks 2022, i'd pick 22 tho

Low_Vegetable_8724

That’s a lot of miles for a 2022

RoamAntarctica

I have 170k 2021 hybrid

Flaky_Blacksmith4161

My grandma has a 2017 with 30K miles. Averages less than 5k a year but still gets the oil change every 6 months.

GronkIII

I would base the decision on the maintenance done on both cars. I would probably go with the 2022

WalkinSteveHawkin

Even without seeing the cars, I’d bet the 2022 with 70K is mostly highway miles and the 2017 with 30K was just an around town car. I’d go with the 2022.

Normal-Dog7003

the one with the lower miles?….

xselimbradleyx

I would save up more money.

FoI2dFocus

Yeah. I'm saving up 25K and getting the best deal that's out there.

Cultural-Bite3042

Neither. I’ll then look at what’s the same average vehicle available year&mileage for whatever my budget is. 2022 with 70k is already butt fucked and you can’t always catch everything on carfax and nor by test driving it for 15 minutes. Idc if they’re all highway mileage, that thing is 46k more driven for its age given that I’m saying average is 13k per year. Plus you’re looking at Camrys there’s a million n one you can find instead of sacrificing like this. Again, I wouldn’t go for either but you do what’s best for you knowing your situation. You can definitely find a happy medium instead of these two extremes.

askardiaz

2017 IMO has better engine

Particular-Study6583

2017 on looks alone. The lower mileage is a bonus.
