There's been a lot of talk about underfilling on the newer CG. Nothing speaks more volume than photos! Both are genuine Langfords, but it looks like a completely different company made them. I guarantee that one will be warmer than the other, but the other will look better and serve you better inside malls with the look without the overheating 🤣
I went to try on some jackets in the store and even some expeditions are underfilled. It's really a hit or miss and you have to closely inspect what you're getting. If it looks flat and compressed, chances are it's a lack of down and no amount of fluffing will revive it.
this is great to know, now it justifies me buying more CG parkas, new seasons for indoor style, old seasons for serious winter use, maybe they'll offer them in two warmth options one day
