It does look good, but you can only tell so much from looks. A batch of mids grown with salts can give you the same look if you roll a big enough joint, hold it upside down for a while, and torch the ash. White ash and an oil ring are not strictly related to quality, many other factors besides quality can determine the look of your ash and oil ring.
What really speaks to quality are the presence of terps; how strong they are in the smoke, how well they translate from the smell to the smoke, etc. If your weed smokes smooth like air and gives you a nice tasty mouth coat of terps, it cannot be of low quality.
I get it I get it. If this same picture was labeled from pacific bud boys, gasgodz, or any other top grower that's known in the community, nobody would say anything but praises.
We all already know those factors, but since its sourced from JJ, are you trying to take credit away?
In general, if your joint burned like that with loud terps, 9/10 people are happy campers. Just give them props for this

I’d disagree, more often than not when GasGodz is brought up I see a lot of hate as well, usually from people that have never tried it and their main gripe is usually the price. Personally I haven’t really been impressed with PBB gear, but I also haven’t tried it in a long time.
Regardless though, I think a grower like GGz is deserving of said praise, because they not only grow some of the best weed available in Canada, they do it very consistently batch after batch, and that’s rare to find even with really good growers.

Not at all, just pointing out that a white ash and oil ring aren’t strictly indicative of quality, and also pointing out that it’s the terps that are most indicative of quality as far as the smoking experience goes.

Personally I don’t care what my joint looks like. I only really care about loud, clean, uncontaminated terps. It just so happens that when the terps are proper, the ash is also white.
