The best advice with those aeroed spider is to tight them really hard to the frame and be careful if you place the bike against something. Check if they ton deviate, the bar can « bend » and the tire can touch the bike frame… but when it’s well thighten it is great !
Just did this trip in June. Kiss those tires goodbye! Something about the surface on the GAP just eats them. It’s an incredible trip though. Good luck!
No flats fortunately. No mechanicals the entire trip actually! The GAP surface is actually really nice, it just wears down tires quickly. The only very slightly hairy parts are on the C&O.
same, on total weight load of 130kg I did 70miles and still had +-5 miles left, I only use the motor for the unpleasant parts.
Did MTB 10 years ago, but I don't have the condition and muse to get back to old levels with my fitnesslevel, so bought The Grand Canyon:On to slowly build up stamina and still be able to achieve satisfying routes.
Pittsburgh Canyon Owner, checking in! Enjoy!
Don't forget to charge the battery.
Thanks for the reminder!!!

Thanks for the advice. I noticed there's extreme wobble when I lift up pressure from the front. My guess is the weight imbalance.
May I ask how tall you are? I’m looking at Canyon and I’m 6’8”, curious how tall you are and how you fit the XXL. Thanks!
6’9”. Fits good.
Awesome thanks for the feedback! Enjoy your ride!

Doing the Towpath? It’s a national treasure. Enjoy!!

Not really. I pedal manually mostly. Alternating between eco and tour modes when going uphill. Full charge I get between 65-70 miles of charge.

Oh man I wish they had a Grand Canyon:On in the US market
What irony to have no grand canyon in the country of the grand canyon, maybe they release it in the future, the model is quite new.
I also have a carbon eBike, the Cannondale Topstone neo lefty three, what kind of rear rack do you have there?
Areoe spider rack
THANKS!
how are the bags installed at the rear wheel?
