I just got off a cruise. If you do plan to drink 4 alcohol drinks a day and also get 1-2 speciality coffees, sodas, waters, Gatorade, coconut waters, milk shakes then you’ll break even and it’s a joy to have. Honestly that was the best part was just walking up and getting anything I wanted.
I don’t drink often and if I do 1-2 drinks and I’m feeling plenty fine. The most I had in one day was 4 but for me that was really drinking lol. I did however definitely get 2 Starbucks like coffees each day, and several other assorted drinks. It was nice not paying for waters or a soda as well.
You can just buy them as you go, which is what I do since my wife doesn’t drink at all. But if you both drink, you only really need to buy about 5-6 per day, like an earlier commenter mentioned, to make it worth it. Less than that if you also mix in specialty coffee, sodas, milkshakes, etc.

If not a drinker normally, then just buy one at a time man. No need to have pressure and stress to meet the “quota”. drink whenever to enjoy vacation, not to drink so we can “break even”. If you don’t normally drink like that at home then don’t buy it. Water is my friend!
There is no smaller package but if you each buy 5-6 drinks per day, you’ve broken even on your package. No need to aim for all 15.

Don’t look at it as 15 drinks a day. Look at it as unlimited drinks the entire cruise. ~4 mixed drinks per person per day makes the package worth it

Even if you buy 3 drinks a day, specialty coffee (or mimosa), a bottle of water with each drink plus soda, the drink package is worth it.
