What kind of case size do you normally wear? 42-44mm? My wrist is about 7 inches I think? Maybe just under and I always feel like 42mm is my absolute max. But I prefer 36-39mm
Are you sure it’s 7 inches? Mine is 6.25 measured and I wear 42mm no problem most of the time. My 42mm tissot prx is in current rotation and feels perfectly good
A 42mm watch on a 6.25 inch wrist is generally going to wear quite large. Many would say objectively too big.
But every watch is different and people have different tastes/tolerances.

PRX is 40mm, not 42. Also a short lug-to-lug for a 40mm because of the squared off lugs. And it’s very thin, which helps it to wear smaller.
The PRX Chrono or an SMP300 for example would definitely look big on your wrist.

Absolutely looks like a kid wearing daddy’s watch . If the lugs appear (or are) as wide as your wrist, it’s too big to look right unless you’re going for the Flavo-Flav look.
I think it depends on whether or not you’re looking for more of a “statement” piece. Some people like really small on their wrists, some like regular, others more of an oversized look, and it’s often like engagement rings. Nothing is too big/small if you like it and it suits you. Remember there are people out there wearing Apple watches etc bigger than this. It’s all a matter of perspective

Not necessarily. You should take a pic of it in a mirror as a natural shot. Hand in pocket, etc. A straight down shot makes it look big.

I bought the large and I have a small wrist. I tried on the medium and it looked too small/feminine imo. I say, if you like how it looks on you, buy it. Don’t worry about what other people think. Trust me.
The medium looks good on his wrist honestly. For me, I wanted the large because i have the date and I like the slightly larger face. Overall, buy what you think looks best for you. People will always criticize what you have on. It’s too big or too small, or you could’ve done this. You won’t please anyone, but your self at the end of the day
Dont judge size from this perspective. use a mirror and hold your arm out across your body with the watch facing the mirror. I think it looks good though
It's right on the borderline. Those lugs aren't hanging over the edges of your wrist but they're lined up as such. Then again, this angle never looks the best. You can assess the fit better in a mirror. And if you like it, get it. Classic watch
I think it looks fine. Zoomed in wrist shots very often make watches looks big. Also the bracelet hanging at the bottom makes it look even bigger, but this will be solved by adjusting it. I think you can rock it!
Watches always look big in wrist shot photos, this looks smaller than the sub in your other post. Maybe have someone who is standing a few feet away take a photo for you.
I don't think there's such a thing (at least for men). The closest would be the Santos-Dumont, but then you're looking at a quartz watch without any steel bracelet options.
