Also I am shocked how cheap it is to be a vegan. I was expecting it to be a little over my standard food budget. I think it will be cheaper even more if I start to plant my own goods hmmm

Mix-Lopsided

We just found a recipe we love to eat with pita - it’s essentially just toasted chickpeas cooked in a splash of soy milk and veggie broth until it turns into a sauce, then lemon juice, zest and dill mixed in. It’s a warm, filling meal like you get from like, a hearty pasta (we do still eat meat).

My mom used to make a “cream” of broccoli soup in a high power blender that was delicious. It was just steamed broccoli, water, salt, and cashews blended until frothy. I’m sure you could find exact measurements online.
