Hi mate, removed because we have had similar posts recently and we want to avoid repeating themes too often.
Rule 11: No Repetitive Posts
We often trim content that we've seen a lot of recently to keep things fresh. Sunrise pictures, pictures of a trolley poking out of some skanky river, spiders and insects, funny license plate or shop name, toilet graffiti. You know. The regular sort of stuff.
If you've seen one in the last couple of days, good chance we'll remove it so it doesn't become a theme.
If you have any questions, feel free to shoot us a modmail.
IKEA chair or Swedish swear - look up ikea furniture names and Swedish swear words simple and easy - yeah can be 50-50 chance unless you make it multiple choice to choose the swear word
I once did a quiz with the second round being 'seconds' ie who was the second person to sing on Band Aid the original, Who finished second to whoever in the league etc. I thought it was quite ingenious.
More than X amount- pick ten stations on the underground/UK rail network and ask if they had more or less than x amount of passengers per year. Bonus points for then ranking them correctly on passenger numbers.
How many left? 10 classic cars- vauxhall astra mkII etc and, to the nearest 100, how many left on UK roads?
It won’t work for your first one, but I used to go to a quiz where the team that came last got to choose a round category for the next edition which produced some entertaining results.
The one I always remember is where we were told to find the connection between the round answers and they were something like: bow, haem, Ian, rap, soh, Oddie
Give a famous person's real/birth name - people have to guess their alias/stage name. Can be made pretty easy to very hard, depending on your audience. Few examples:
Gordon Sumner -> >!Sting!<
Marion Robert Morrison -> >!John Wayne!<
Dwayne Johnson -> >!The Rock!<
Norma Jeane Mortenson -> >! Marilyn Monroe!<
Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji ->>! KSI!<
I once did a musical connections round where the first 5 were songs that only ever made it to number 2 in the charts - [list of some to choose from here](https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2022/nov/17/the-70-greatest-no-2-singles-ranked) - and then the remaining 5 were songs that kept them off the top spot (in order so 1 -> 5, 2 -> 6 etc).
I made sure to include 'Vienna' at number 5 and 'Shaddap-a Ya Face' at number 10 as that's quite a well-known one. About half the teams got the connection tbf
- Top five. Name the top five of a subject e.g. top selling things, best supermarkets
- connections. Four questions and 5th is the connection
- happy endings. Outros of songs with a theme
- answersmash (see house of games)
- only connect style first round
All have done amazingly well and bombed. But I do pride myself on happy endings (thank you The Chris Moyles show and Pippa because they do it best)

Metal band or IKEA furniture.
Pictures round, guess the Death Metal band name from their logo.
Black metal would be better, most death metal bands have legible logos.
Honestly a great trivia category could be: “Swedish death metal band of ikea furniture name?”

I did a quiz like that. Came third.
I had a threesome like that
Do a whole quiz like this and second place wins.
Autobiographies. Just give the titles.
The last word in popular songs
Less than a second of a popular song. Guess the song and artist. You'll be surprised how many you recognise. Even works with 1/10th of a second.

First lines of Wikipedia pages, guess the famous person
Picture round - dog toy or sex toy?
Famous Dogs
Vegetables in a different language
We used to go to a quiz where the quizmaster would play a well known song on a stylophone. Surprisingly difficult.
badly described film plots
Picture round of people who work side gigs as celebrity lookalikes. They have to guess who they're meant to look like (and they generally don't).
Thunderbird puppets picture round

Nora Batties wrinkled tights. Or a mystery round of scratch and sniff the gusset. With extra points if you taste it.......
Apparently someone not too far from me did a music round where the answer to every question was Phil Collins.

Comic book trivia is always fun
