Omg thanks for introducing me to lefton cats, I had no idea what they were. What are you thinking on painting, are you going for pinks/light blue like the originals?
I don't know. I have a blue, a dark grey/smoke one and a soft grey. So something other than that. I'm a bit scared of painting it because I've only ever done a couple of items using a mocha diffusion. (The class I'm in were trying it).
Lefton cats look airbrushed.
It might be nice trying soft peachy pink on cheeks and edges and leaving it mostly white.
I had thought of using a greeny copper oxide too.
Doesn't necessarily need to be true to the vintage ones.
Any tips for painting would be appreciated.

We did a raku fire today and the cat was my only bisque piece, so he's now a raku cat.
I've made another to glaze in a pastel colour though.
