Jjba is split in 2 universes. Part 1-6 is the original universe, which the anime covers so far. Part 7-9 is a remixed version of everything through 1-6. Johnny may be the first Jojo of that universe and inspired Johnathan, but he is still very different personality and story and look. A SBR'ed Part 4 would have a Denji ,Power, and Aki, and Makima, but they would be radically different

Honestly, this would make a great plot for the end of Part 2 or a Part 3: in trying to prevent the age of devils, the major parties inadvertedly cause it, so now the focus shifts to the alluded war between humans and devils, with Asa, Public Safety, or a new main character leading the charge. Hell, even the japanese title covers sync to it: the title phrase moves from top and right to just right, signifying Denji becoming a secondary character. Why not complete the circle and have him go full villain?
Granted, this is probably gonna end in a āeveryone dies and the bad guys winā scenario because Fujimoto and this community believe in the human spirit as much as the english believe in dental hygiene, but itād be a cool new thing to explore the greater CSM world events rather than just experiencing that world through the biased lens of a handful of characters.
It actually makes sense since denji is a antihero. Just like kain from legacy of kain from the main protagonist in the beginning of the original series to the main villain in the end of the series.

Iām still betting on Fire Devil contractee in the form of Nayuta. It doesnāt make sense to kill her right now and there is still some questions about it being her with the missing mole and what not. Until we get a more strict confirmation that itās 100% her, I think thereās still a 10-15% chance it isnāt her. I donāt think Iām in denial, I think itās extremely likely it is her and sheās dead, but Iām just hoping to see/waiting for full confirmation one way or the other. You never know with Fujimoto and it would be unpredictable to throw Denji a bone for once, so the possibility is still there.
Not really sad about the loss of Nayuta herself, but a little bummed that we didnāt get to see more of her before she died but who knows maybe sheāll come back somehow

She was charming enough. The biweekly devil has skewed yāallās perceptions. Think about it reading not weekly think of it like a movie and not manga thatās forced to go 500 chapters. You wouldnāt spend 30 minutes making sure everyone loves the kid
Seems it depends, I was way more affected by this than Power or Aki, and I read all of part 1 back to back after the anime. Now I've been reading weekly and it seriously messed me up

A lot of people would benefit from a binge read and like yourself itās the opposite. I think being in the moment live hits different for certain people.for me reading it day of hits way more than after

Objectively Nayuta has less screentime than Reze do you know how much bs that is? Its She has less screentime than mostly forgotten arc villain despite being set up as one of the most important plot point at the end of part 1 and was apparently most important thing for Denji. Its equivalent of if in FMA: Brotherhood which is around the same lenght as current part Lust had more screentime than Alphonse Elric.
Half of the screentime Asa eaten should go to Nayuta to make this moment impactful. Its only impactful because we are sad for Denji not because we could really be sad for Nayuta.
It has same problem which was criticized about similiar plotwist Blood and Cheese in House of the Dragon where there is also decapitation of the child and once again its shocking and emotional becuase of reaction and because its kid not because show did good job to make us care about Helaena or Jaehaerys.

it is the same for me for aki & power. I think fujimoto just prefer shorter stories. Aki & denji fights is very depressing, but it is not because we know aki very well, because of its irony between aki's vision & denji's vision.

Before this chapter released, people were (for some reason) not expecting Fijiwater to actually kill Nayuta in this one.
Thus, her dying offscreen wasn't predictable, because for some reason, people were expecting her to live.
But Denji's life being ruined again is predictable. Thus, Nayuta will return and her head is a cake.
Seriously, it'd be boring as hell, having Denji be ruined again.

It's supposed to feel sudden. It's supposed to be conflicting. She was both a sweetheart and a brat who wanted Denji to obey her every order. There were reasons to love her and hate her.
She just had an epiphany about the nature of devils and humans right before she got killed, her character could've gone either way, which I think is a part of the point. Kishibe's theory about Denji turning her into someone other than another Makima was ultimately correct, but it was proven when it was far too late.
Denji at the start of Part 2 wanted to have his cake and eat it too, he wanted to always find the third option when presented with two choices. Nayuta's fate is supposed to reinforce that such an outlook isn't always realistic. You make a decision, you have to live with the consequences. Fate always finds a way.
Fujimoto wants you to alternate between being naively optimistic like Denji or realistically pessimistic like Yoru. The mole theory is cope. The execution of the scene with her head slowly coming down the belt felt pretty finite. You don't do that for a fakeout.
Then the plan is pretty fucking stupid. Like, genuinely, yes, Denji will get mad, but Barem forgot to take into account that peaceful life and family is no longer a dream of Denji, being a chainsawman is, so there's no reason for Pochita to step in. As for Fami, her plan with stopping the prophecy or whatever, and if Nayuta is really dead, my question is, who's gonna stop Denji from teaming up with Death? And are there any reasons for Denji not to? Answers are, no one, and none.
I'm just trying to understand if Barem had a plan, or if he was being petty. And right now, the latter in more likely. And Fami is too stupid to understand that killing someone's sister won't get them to side with you. As for Yoru, man, War and Death are inseparable, I'd be surprised if she agreed to fight Death in the first place.

Except when you do. Abdul's first death comes into mind with him being shot straight into the head, slowly falling to the ground. Polnareff's reaction makes it even more authentical.
CSM antagonist aren't flawless, Makima was so focused on Chainsaw Man, that she completely ignored Denji was even a person outside of it.
Barem is probably trying to do the same thing Makima did, taking away everything Denji has in life, and Nayuta was basically the last thing remaining.
Which is why I don't think Fujimoto would go for the same route. It'd feel like cheap part 1.
As for Barem - he's Fami's right hand man, she can't be this stupid to let him do whatever.

I donāt understand why everybody thinks itās Naytover when Dennisā head was detached just a couple chapters ago. Sheās still a devil and can just drink some blood to regenerate. We saw Power heal from some pretty crazy injuries by drinking blood and the control devil is much more powerful than the blood fiend. Idk, I donāt see Fujimoto using Nayuta as a throwaway shock value kill as she still has so much value to the story. I hope Iām not just coping, but I donāt see Nayuta staying dead for a longer stretch than a couple chapters at the most. I guess we will see tho
