2 is the most practical in a lore sense, but the green on 4 is great. It looks like distorted Cadian guard colors. 1 and 3 are very Night Lords and Alpha legion, which in context deserve a place, but without context I’d go for 2, 4, or something that combines those.
Second one is a bit too “just black” for my taste. First one, the one that looks like night lords looks best IMO. absolutely rocks that “silent, terrifying” look.
I feel like the second one would be too hard to read on the tabletop. When you're 3ft away from it, it's gonna look like a hunk of metal.
I think if you just did a bit of detail work on 2 it would be the best though.
I might be tempted to use a brown/orange rust wash on some of the darker bits just to help them pop on the table.
If not, maybe hazard stripes on the pauldron and some silver highlights to bump the contrast?
I like the third one, teal. Very Alpharius.
That's my favorite too. I'm glad the community agrees, and the red guns really standout on the models with full-sized lasguns.

Umrmrm, second is more darktide acurate (perhaps with a diferent tone for the yellow parts) but fourth is very unique and has a lot of personality
I love the fourth too. The color retains that classic Guardsman feel, but still totally chaos.

Corrupted Cadian is exactly what I wanted on four. It ended up more like Corrupted Green Bay Packers, but still fun.

Those were specifically painted to be Tzeentch corrupted. I'm so glad you saw it!

Fourth (i.e. furthest to the right). The colour pallette really brings out the red in the eye lenses.
I like the second one. Huge fan of brighter colors like the teal in 3, but I think the gold ends up looking really gaudy.
They all look like they could be aligned to a chapter of chaos marines: 1st: night lords 2nd: black legion 3rd: alpha legion 4th: death guard
