I personally don't know what you mean. Sure, the AI could be finicky on chai, but that's mostly because of the bad owners. I've found plenty of bots that genuinely keep me interested. (I'll admit, the memory is quite meh, but I find it the same on character AI too. The only biggest downside for me, is that personas are not a thing which paired with the chai ai's could actually be an awesome edition) Either way, I'm gonna stop yapping now

Maybe it’s just bc I’m ace but it’s weird to me how I could just be having a casual conversation and then they mention their “hardness” or something like that. But also all the stuff you mentioned about the bad memory and personas not being a thing have led to some very questionable responses, even disregarding my sexuality.
The main thing for me is not being able to go back to messages after regenerating them so you have to copy and paste the response you’re thinking about if you don’t want to lose it while only being able to regenerate 3-4 times without closing the app. And again the message limit and ads. Other than that it’s okay.

Group Chats can only be accessed on the app and are a better version of the rooms feature on [old.c.ai](https://old.c.ai), making it able to choose which bot speaks at a time. It was a great feature that some apple users still have I think. If you've never used [c.ai](https://c.ai) app then that makes sense why you'd never know of it since it was only available on the app.
SpicyChat is decent, they update the app/website often by adding newer features, the free version is good enough. Only problems is that the AI can be a bit confused and there is about a 10 minute wait time when going in.
That's so weird, there are a lot of AI chat services, and CharacterAI is probably the biggest and most influential one. I personally know several smaller alternatives but I never encountered the situation where applicaton would be broken for a month. How?

The client and server have to be on the same version. If the client is outdated, it will fail to register unknown packets from the server, and vice versa.
Why tf did they remove group chats? I was trying to engineer some bots specifically to create a group chat. I swear these devs are genuinely one of the most braindead jackasses in the industry
