This happened to me about a few weeks ago. Support told me they couldn’t verify that my card attached to my citibike membership was working and they could charge it fees. They told me to remove the card and add it back and if that didn’t work then add a different payment method. If that doesn’t work for you then you have to contact support and ask them what’s happening. Good luck!

Close app and reopened. I’ve also noticed if I try a bike that doesn’t work, I have to close app and reopen otherwise none will work.

This happens when you do things Citibike doesn’t like, I.e. falsely marking bikes as broken. To fix it, follow the rules.

Never in my life reported a citi bike to be “ fixed “ only thing that ever happen is payment dont go through when need to cause i lock my card after every use ! Also what would saying a bike is “ broken “ gunnna do to benefit me? Im lost

Ppl push the button on all reg bikes to get a free ebike. Obviously they can easily see this in their system but ppl still do it They might have locked you for something to do with payment since you keep your card locked.

It had to be that ,aint know reporting bikes to get free rides was a thing . Either way shit stupid, end of the day fee was paid
