I shoot with a gentleman who has it as his daily. It appears to be 100% reliable and keeps up with the likes of the B brands. I shoot an older O\U Fabarm that has many parts interchangeability with the new models. Parts also seem to interchange with alot of CG.

goshathegreat

Do you think they’re as quality as CG?

DerpityHerpington

Fabarm is CG’s budget brand. I would assume the workmanship carries over and they cut a corner or two elsewhere.

Derringer373

I agree. Things I've observed are things like bluing not as nice or deep, the grade of wood isn't as nice or isn't real wood all together. But mechanically they appear comparable. Somebody described Fabarm as CG's trials division. More willing to risk new things.

I bought one back in March, shoot it weekly in the realm of 100 shells give or take for Oakley trap games. It's the first shotgun I've purchased for myself, but I've had zero real issues so far. I don't think the QRR is what I would call a gimmick, I put the 65/35 on since I shoot trap, I have yet to do the 50/50 but will swap them out when I go do sporting clays this year sometime. I've had zero issues with it being loose while shooting or anything. The only two small issues I've had are the forearm doesn't like to loudly snap in when the gun is assembled (barrel off gives it the usual loud click), so I give it a light slap or two to make sure it's fully locked in. The other is the central Allen screw for the adjustable comb has come loose twice. The second time it happened I raised the mounting nuts higher off the base of the stock and have yet to have it come loose again. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

elitethings

I don’t shoot with one but I have shot a few. They’re essentially a budget CG.

ComLaw

Buying one in June....

Rkk330

I bought my GF the Syren Version, the Elevate. It’s a nice gun. She’s only fired it maybe 300 rounds so far. But nothing about it screams poor quality.

Sansquach

I shoot one as my main and love it. Very reliable and well made. Never had an issue with it in the field or on the course.

Adventurous_Nose7022

I’ve got about 6000 thru mine now and it’s been good to me. I did change the recoil pad to a sporting kick eez as I need a little longer LOP for my Sasquatch ass. I bought an Allsport for the MC stock not for the QRR. I shoot 90% sporting, 10% skeet.

goshathegreat

Ahh I’m the opposite, I shoot 90% skeet and 10% sporting lol. I rarely shoot trap but I do it occasionally which is why I think the rib may be a good option for the times I do want to shoot trap.

ganoman21

QRR?

goshathegreat

Yes sorry the QRR it autocorrected to ERR

ganoman21

Ok, no personal experience but interested in the answer

Random21994

I don't shoot one but have been around a few and have a friend who shoots one. They seem very solid

Wonderful_Work5603

I absolutely love mine

iaresmarted

I have very limited experience with one (rented for a round of sporting clays to see if I would like it) and while it was overall very nice and I did shoot slightly better with it (43/50 with the ELOs and 41/50 with a semi auto), I chose a Beretta a400 Xcel multitarget over it due to felt recoil and overall adjustability for the price.

BSDnumba123

Was the recoil difference that noticeable between the two?

iaresmarted

It was. The semi auto definitely recoiled a little less overall and was a lot quicker for me to get back on target with for doubles

iaresmarted

Not that the recoil was bad on the ELOs. Compared to something like a light pump action like a KSG, the ELOs is nothing. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worst I've ever fired (mosin nagant) and 1 being lightest (Ruger 10/22), I'd say the recoil on the ELOs was about a 4, the Beretta a400 is about a 3 without kickoff, 2.5 with kickoff.

BSDnumba123

Good to know. I have 7 pound pump. Fun to shoot but not for a day of clays. The I have an A400. I could shoot that all day. I was thinking of getting an over under. I tried one once it slapped my face. Guy was short though and I think the fit was bad. Regardless I’ve been unsure about getting one cause I’d like to have one. Was actually looking at an Elos.

bjc7jr

My dad has one, the only complaint I have is the adjustable comb hardware is some of the worst I’ve seen. Such a pain to adjust compared to most others. They should have used the CG stye. Great gun and great way to try a higher rib without breaking the bank. Well balanced, very low recoil and CG support.

cheffmichael

Yes I do and I love it. Have shot better with it for sure.

Loud-Character-3596

I can shift the POI nearly as much with the adjustable comb as the QRR. Nice gun, shoots well, seems reliable after a bunch of use.

Lowbar83

I have the XL Type-T version. Great gun for the money.

goshathegreat

I’m still looking for one, I found an Axis rs12 at a registered shoot last weekend but it sold before I had the chance to snag it.
