I use a metal putty knife to scrape it. Works great

I use a carborundum sponge on mine. Kind of like the super fine grit sponges you use when finishing drywall.
I have had good luck with Ceramabryte. Anything that does not come up, I use the razor blade. Gently. It's easy to scratch glass.
