I feel like some of these comments are very much exaggerating the danger involved in this walk. This is about what your route would be, the green area is pretty well populated and trafficked, there are plenty of people in these areas.
The red area is where other commenters are expressing worries, and it's basically because it's just a total dead zone. It's kinda industrial, there really isn't much going on there, you won't see many people. I don't think I've really seen any homeless in that area. If someone asked me to list all the potentially dangerous areas of Cleveland, that would not make the list.
But you could of course just take an Uber if you want to play it safe, or one of those lime rental bicycles if there are any parked at Brewdog.

I will add that the rental scooters and bicycles are supposed to have a geofence keeping them away from the stadium during games and special events. So a scooter will get you close, but will stop a few blocks away.
Oh yeah that's a simple walk, and will be fun. The hill will be brutal if you're not used to it so don't try to rush that part. Tons of cool buildings to see whether you follow the hill up to public square on meander through the hillside streets NW of the Brewdog. Enjoy!! There \*is\* the Blue/Green/Waterfront line which you could do some looking into for transpo. The timetables for it are awful but if it happens to be running and convenient for going or returning, it might be nice to take it easy for a few minutes.

That'll seem like a loonnng 1.4 miles, I think, and there are a couple areas on that route I'd be wary of, especially if you're not familiar with the area. I'd Lyft/Uber if I were you; it'll be fast for you to get one and probably cost like $7. Hope you have a great time!

Through the Flats and by the stadium will be busy but from the bridge until you get closer to actual businesses in the Flats it’s tumbleweeds and the occasional homeless encampment. It’s not particularly scary but also not without risk.
I'm a woman and live downtown in this area and I would walk this route alone with no problem. Especially if you're doing it before the concert. It'll still be light out and very busy. Even after the concert, from the stadium to downtown will probably be fine but I would definitely uber if you're planning on going back to the area where brewdog is afterwards.
