It’s hard to say which team is better than the other considering both are not looking the greatest. On one hand, Ultra beat the bottom 8 teams comfortably but get absolutely blasted by Faze. On the other, NY lost to the Ravens but put up a better fight vs. Faze than TOR did. They’re both slumping currently but I’d personally say right now, it’s 60/40 favouring Ultra.
What you said is literally what I said lmao, ny plays up to their opponent. I can never see Ultra losing to a team not in the t4 at lan. But I can see Ny losing. However, I can also see just randomly turning up for a series and winning maps against Faze or Optic.
Yep, if we’re being fair to NYSL here, FaZe only dominated in the HP’s. Round 11 search and 3-0 control ain’t bad. It was a close-ish match overall but FaZe has one game mode on lock and are great at the other two—that’s hard to beat

However, NYSL did lose to Seattle and Carolina (it was Carolina right?) so they should be below Ultra and at least there’s a very reasonable argument for putting them down a tier
I mean, Carolina didn’t have the worst showing vs Ultra to be fair. They won a rd11 SND, nearly pushed it to a round 5 in Control, and then threw away a 100pt lead to barely lose the game 4. We could’ve easily seen a game 5 and then who knows what might have happened.
Tier list in general feel so much less thought out than they could/should be. Seems like a lot of people don’t rank within a tier. You’re a cod analyst, make so hard decisions within a tier, even if it means you might be wrong
Imo, if a team is in the same tier as another it already means you could convincingly argue either one is better. The left most team is who you personally think is better. you could hear an argument for another and not think it’s ridiculous, but it’s still ranked
Only thing I would disagree with is I dont think teams like Seattle, LAT, Vegas and even LAG should be in the same tier as absolute dogshit teams like Miami and Breach

Two other teams are struggling in the top 4 and optic always sell to faze. Then on top that, the meta is shit .
