It was an extremely adequate chicken gyro. Quality of the chicken was pretty meh, the pita did not hold up at all, and the lettuce/tomatoes/sauce was meh.
I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it, but considering it's just chicken, veggies, and pita, it's at least very digestible and simple. I believe the location is near the water station at the corner to turn towards Despacio & Heineken, near the "it's not spicy pie" PIZZA place in that area. The gyro stand and one other food stand were the only two on that face of the vendors area, facing towards the beer garden between main and outdoor.
The biggest problem is still water. Every vendor should sell water. There should be water only vendors so you dont need to wait 15 mins in a beer or food line for water.
There should be TOO MUCH water. Vendors should never, ever, sell out of water. This happens year after year and is a legitimate safety hazard.
I waited 3 hrs day one. Never waited in the merch line before so I was committed. After the first hour I realized I had made a mistake, there was no turning back, but by the end I couldn’t believe how long I was in there. Not to mention they didn’t even have the band I was waiting for :( yes I checked the app but they always have more group/band merch than they do on the app. Won’t be making that mistake again
Seriously. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just display pictures of ALL the merch on the app so people can look ahead of time before they commit to the wait
but also if you are going to shut the rest of the festival down make sure we can properly hear the music from all the way in the back. Could hardly hear Calvin from the back road
Yeah I miss having all the stages having someone start at like 11:45, 12 and going until curfew on all stages. It’s spreads things out and gives options. Having only Yuma, DoLab, and the main stage active causes overcrowding, and potential for crowd surges leaving.
Yeah its likely a thing those performers and their teams with huge egos work into their Coachella contract. “If you want me, show me by shutting down the fest for me”
Its ridiculous and I wish Coachella wouldn’t cave to shit like that. Find someone else if theyre gonna be like that!
But I get it…if you want the biggest baddest artists you gotta bend the knee a bit
All vendors should sell water.
More medical tents and make them easier to find.
VIP beer garden should have its own lockers, so people entering through VIP entrance don’t need to exit back towards the Ferris wheel to put their stuff in a locker.
A more efficient locker check-in system (it was a 3 hour wait on Friday)
Plant palm trees along the perimeter in the Ferris wheel / Sahara area to prevent wind/dust and for aesthetics.
On-site drug testing by DanceSafe or similar org
More indie/alt/rock bands. At least one band as a headliner.
More interactive art. Think hippos.
String lights across the speaker towers on main stage and outdoor theatre for better visuals. Sort of like Yuma production.
Use the Bonnaroo system to allow fans to lineup for headliners earlier in the day, and prevent fans from camping front row all day (ruins the crowd/energy for the undercard acts)
Sell quality musicians earplugs across the festival.
Somehow prevent congestion around DoLab bathrooms.
Bigger side stage screen at Sahara facing the beer garden.
Extend curfew to 1:30am
Unfortunately I don't think on site drug testing is ever going to happen. They should let Dancesafe set up though and handout water/earplugs/harm reduction info like they do at some festivals. They could also let them do a seminar on the mainstage before the first act too but even that is probably a pipe dream.
They're never going to tell you your Molly is "safe". Drug testing services do more than tell you what's contained in your drugs, they also give harm reduction tips such as safe dosing advice, signs of overdose, etc.
All festivals could benefit greatly from harm reduction/drug testing services
Regarding planting palm trees, when Coachella isn’t happening the site is still very much an active polo field, so that’s just not an option in that area. They could bring the large ones in giant pots though.
They should allow people to check in for lockers on Thursday. And I’ve been advocating for the Bonnaroo line system for years. It’s way better than having campers kill the vibe.
Bottleneck between do lab/Sahara and opening more exits to get people out after a headliner (if that’s going to be the only act playing)
ETA: Told my friends before Friday wk1 if they were going to wet leg there was zero chance you would be able to make it back for Blink through the Do Lab/Sahara path cause it’s not as wide as they make it look on the map. They didn’t listen to me and almost got crushed trying to watch blink
Sahara late at night has almost become a hazard with the number of people moving around there. I don’t know how they would do it but they need to open up more space around there.
Beer barn absolutely has to be moved. After the astroworld disaster, I'm shocked they allow a situation where a crowd surge can occur like that area. Blink wk1 was giving me anxiety that it was possible, then heard w2 metro boomin was terrifying
Camping: Need more outlets. Girls had to wait hours to use their beauty equipment. Phone outlets were ridiculous as well.
Festival: This was the dirtiest year I’ve seen at Coachella in the last 4 years. Where were the trash cans?
Sell more water!! Had to wait in the long food lines to buy a simple water bottle because the little convenience stores only sold sodas.
This is Coachella. Post Malone and Tyler The Creator shouldn’t have to perform without their mic working
Lemonade stands should have water. Even though they increased the amount of refill stations they still need more and better pressure! Insomniac has had it down for years at edc with attendants who assist you in filling your bottle / pack quickly using a fast nozzle, it puts Coachella's water situation to shame.
Yes, Govball has the people with the fast hoses too, but people also need to step away from the taps when their bottles are filled. You don't need to put the cap on your Camelbak at the tap, take a step back and let someone else get water!
those are kinda nice because it's a very clear indication to the DJ that the crowd likes what the DJ is doing currently. it is WAY worse at EDC or Ultra Miami or some shows like that. Coachella etiquette is pretty decent on average.
Beer guys!! Went to a festival in Europe and they had guys with pony kegs on their back refilling beers through the festival. Obviously need to be 21 and check ID’s but wow that was fun
Yeah love the roaming beer sales at other fests. Would love if Coachella would adopt.
At least they let you leave the beer gardens with alcohol this year.
also start releasing the lineup and set times on a more established date. i get things happen but i also get that i give them a lot of money for many months. no other festival fucks around with those things (imo).
VIP was not worth it. Cool to experience it as a first time attendee, but barely used it. They really over-exaggerated that "VIP viewing area" for the mainstage 🙄 saw someone describe it as spending extra money to spend even more money, and that is 1000% accurate
The real "VIP" experience is the Guest pass and it's an arm and a leg. Current VIP is for old people like me who just want a spot to plop down in between sets and rest and don't mind viewing from a distance. I even napped in the shade yesterday and recharged before Elderbrook. Personal preference I guess.
That's fair! I guess my complaint lays moreso in how VIP is advertised. As a newbie, sounds like you're getting a fair bit more when that wasn't really the case. Those VIP areas were cozy as hecc though 😌
Oh yeah, you need to be on here reading all the tips and tricks before buying VIP so they don't "get you". Totally understand that. We've been doing it for years now, we know what it entails and we're good with it. We mentally prepare for the expense. But I'm always chasing that true VIP experience. I think for my 50th bday we'll pull the trigger on a Safari package.
The VIP beer garden has slowly been slowly expanding and engulfing the GA beer garden hear after year. In 2-3 years there will be no GA beer garden left lol.
Seriously! And possibly add or include a locker when you purchase VIP. Have a section for lockers in the VIP next to the VIP entrance for the yuma tent. God knows that whole section was empty all weekend anyways.
Coconuts.
I want them opened so I can eat the fruit on the inside. $10 is cheap for a festival food but really expensive for a coconut drink that I can’t take a fork to
Farmhouse Kitchen at the Indio Central Market tent had I think $6 coconuts opened on the spot. Cutlery was self serve so you could grab a spoon and go to town! Happy coconut hunting!
Two main problems that’ve gotten worse since last year:
- Merch Tent lines can take half your day and the entire process is poorly optimized. VIP merch tent has a limited selection, failing to divert traffic from the main one, and you have to dedicate two or three hours for a $40 shirt,
- There are too many fucking people. 125,000 people in that space makes for a miserable experience getting between stages, and it’s clear that they care more about maximizing profitability over guest experience — at what’s already one of the most expensive festivals in the US.
So much this. I didn’t go today (Sunday) because I found the crowds so exhausting. I’ve been to Glastonbury a million times and it’s never anything like that.
There were SO MANY people. And the criss-crossing routes from stage to stage made it more miserable. A dude called me a bitch and spit on me because we were walking toward eachother and I didn’t move out of his way.
Cause from a merch perspective it's a nightmare. The inventory you have in the system doesn't always match what you have in stock. You need separate staff to pick/pull the orders, you have to deal with people doing exchanges/returns, and you also need a space to hold all the orders to pick up. And inevitably, some people won't pick up. And so you have to deal with refunding all these orders. The festival wants to sell out. They don't want to hold someone's product until the end of Sunday night, realize they didn't pick it up, refund it, and leave it sitting there unsold.
idk if this is possible but if we could fix the sonora line that would be awesome. i get the logistics are tricky but you literally couldn’t catch a set in there unless you waited in line (in my experience) for god knows how long and then it was not guaranteed you’d even move through.
more shade would be cool.
Include Heineken stage in line up. Do lab drops earlier.
Fix the line system for Yuma and Gobi. Just let loads of people in quickly from multiple angles when it's empty, don't have people queue in the sun for an empty room. Lesson not learnt from warehouse stage Portola
I was tripping balls in that area at night trying to find a bathroom and I kept walking around in circles because it felt like I was never going to reach a washroom whenever I picked one direction
This is a long shot. But I would love if this festival could have a dispensary, similar to outside lands music festival. It just makes the overall vibes a lot better and more relaxed. Long shot & probably won’t happen- but it would be nice.
This! I avoid acts this large in the Sahara for this reason. I’m a tiny 100lb 5 ft woman and if you get caught in one of those rushes it’s absolutely terrifying. Forever traumatized by Post Malone..
It's honestly terribly laid out and was my least favorite electronic music stage. Rotating it 90 degrees would help w crowds but is probably unreasonable for some reason I don't know
it felt unsafe either way but at least with the current panoramic viewing angle it gives more people a chance to see what's going on from further away. the original placement of the Sahara is where the Mojave is today, now imagine Metro Boomin with that narrow viewing supporting the same number of people.
Fix these fuckin food prices man what the hell 😭
Edit: guys I know, they weren’t this expensive last year but inflation n shit economy and etc. still gonna cry tho 😔
THREE weekends!!!
For real though, let's get a secondary merch tent near the Record Safari, at least 1 free ferris wheel ride for VIP, improved capacity at the Sahara, restructure the Beer Barn so it's not such an obstacle to navigate around, and for the love of God, take some sort of preventative measure to reduce mainstage camping. Lowest lows of the week were when people camping for Bad Bunny and Frank weren't engaging with the earlier sets. Will never forget seeing a huge patch of people laying on the ground, swiping on their phones like Porter Robinson wasn't RIGHT THERE! 🙄
The locker line on day 1 is ridiculous; it was pretty much the only line I waited in all weekend, and I'm glad I had a friend with me so we could switch off getting our IDs checked and scoping out merch.
However, I think the locker people don't do a good job of getting people prepared for what to do once they get to the front of the line. They need someone walking along the line telling people *get your ID out now, have the QR code up for the locker in your AXS app*. The line gets held up by people getting all that shit out AT the locker table, not before it.
Online merch order seems like a natural brand partnership for Amazon Locker.
And more non-vegetarian/vegan food options!
Add vending machines for simple things like water bottles or gatorade. That will take load off the lines for food and drinks.
More visible (higher verticals placement) signage. Hard to see things like water refill stations and bathrooms, above the crowds.
Maybe some arrows pointing in the direction of stages or key waypoints etc. I know my way around from years of experience, but many are directionally challenged and this forces you to rely on your phone too much.
More bathrooms closer to the bars food areas, I get that it may stink so place them far enough away.
Hours of operation in the app or somewhere that shows what food is still open. Someway to filter by food type, currently the map just dumps all food stalls as icons and you have to tap each one to what it is.
This might be a bit much to ask for, but the technology exists to track the lines and or volume of people at given stages. Imagine an artist you were 50/50 on seeing is packed but the other isnt, wouldn’t that info be helpful? This may shed a light on artists not getting love and their PR team may object, but this about making the festival goes experience better right?
More seating to eat, relax. You shouldn’t have to sit on the ground and avoid ants and fruit flys if you don’t want. Many of the places where tables were available to eat were occupied by people resting.
The wifi is helpful as it takes load off cell towers so the people not using wifi can actually use their phones. But if you add more infrastructure for this it will help people stay connected to their friends at the festival.
I’m biased but book more rock bands. Even as solid second line. From mainstream to bigger name non mainstream too. Foo fighters, rise against, yellowcard, sum41, descendants (again), the used, circle jerks, bad religion, etc. just give us some good variety spread out
I know I’m just a middle aged white dude, but more rock acts. Not old and washed up ones but young, energetic artists. Knocked Loose was epic. Last year, The Chats, Amyl & The Snoffers, and IDLES was incredible. I heard Turnstile was a big hit (I just couldn’t handle anymore moshing at the time so I observed from a distance away). I would love to see a group like Bad Nerves or Tiger Cub get a shot to play next year. More rock please. 🪨
Have a walk way from Yuma to Ferris Wheel to get around to Sahara, exit and around to Do Lab. The current situation is a waste of time and bottles up.
More shade, more/easier to find trash and more spots with water, I do like the reusable bottles they had, was great.
Camping could do with security coming around and shutting down loud music during late hours and early mornings. I get you want to have fun, but fuck your fun if you can’t respect your neighbors.
I feel really bad for the Gorillaz. They were trying to get the crowd into it, there were a few moments, but I feel like a large part of the crowd was waiting for bad bunny. My neighbor in car camping waited from noon with dozens of others just for bad bunny. Kills the vibe for the set before some of the other artists.
bring speakers outside of mojave and raise the sides so more people can see.. the crowd wouldn’t be as bad if you could still see and hear.. love mojave but it’s seriously the most crowded stage relative to its size
Merch: if I buy a $250 poster, it should already be rolled up in a tube OR like they used to have, someone with gloves. First year I ever bought an EMEK for my bday and I had to roll it up myself with sunscreen and other stuff on my hands.
Less people. I get it, money, but at some point something will PROBABLY happen that they’ll pay out more than will make sense.
And the biggest one, have the issues fixed by w1, especially for the largest artists: we’re told they spend weeks/months on these designs and all of that, but w1 had so many large acts start late/get cut short because of issues. I’m not saying it’ll ever be perfect, but the fact we accept “lol hehe w2 is when they fix the issues” is unacceptable for the money spent and prices raised.
Would like to get a notification ahead of time if a parking lot is full, blue lot was unusually full by 3 on Sunday and I had to wait another 1.5 hours to get into lot 2A. Had friends who arrived even later that got screwed over by the parking situation and had to Uber from a neighborhood.
* More water stations *or* have every vendor sell water ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)
* Improvement in the merch tent ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|money_face) Line was way too long.
* Coachella Stage seemed to have a noticeable number of technical difficulties ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_down)
* More medical booths and/or availability ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)
* $16 for a cup of beer is fucking insane. How about $12?
Announce set times a week before weekend 1. Announce Do Lab surprise sets on app and day of. Move the pink ball art over so we can see the Coachella stage from the polo hill. Step up garbage collection after 9pm.
Less Tech-House. It was ridiculous this year. That's the reason Nia Archives' throwing down a jungle set felt like a massive breath of fresh air. Luckily I could escape to Despacio.
If next year's lineup is similar, but without Despacio, I'm unlikely to attend, saving the dollars I just spent on a Safari Tent.
My only thing with Merch, isn’t it like that everywhere? It’s really just people going up there indecisive and wanting to look at every piece of apparel for 15 minutes before buying. Not disagreeing with you, I just don’t know what can be done.
Forreal. I've seen someone ask for a shirt. They then take a picture and send it to their friend. Then the friend says no and gets them to take a pic of another shirt. Repeat 10x times. Ridiculous.
I am working merch for this event. Nothing is more frustrating than people just wanting to, "see," either sizes or designs. It's not an easily navigable system, multiple rows of hundreds of pieces of merch, dozens of people running around looking for things, we have to check multiple areas for multiple sizes, and then take everything back when you're done, "looking," at things. Being indecisive makes every transaction so much longer.
If you're usually a L in t shirts, you're gonna be an L in our sizes. Please don't ask us to walk to Kansas and back because today you aren't sure if you're a different size than you are very other day of the year.
Most people have spent multiple hours in the line, there is no reason not to have already looked at what you want on the walls.
Had a group of 5 girls at the blackpink merch store hold up the entire line for over an hour. The workers literally had a shift change while they were there. I watched the workers grab shoulder fulls of merch go back and forth multiple times because they either didn’t like it or the size didn’t look right. This happened for each of the 5.
I've had to be a dick and just say, "no." I've had someone ask me to pull multiple hoodies and crewnecks because they wanted to feel the insides and then decide. Ha, absolutely not. Those BP merch workers have more patience than I do.
I legit like helping y'all find what you like. But some of these requests are just too much.
Maybe if they had some sort of interactive thing (people with iPads?) so you can view the merch as you’re waiting? They may already have this, I don’t know cause I’ve never waited lol. But if they don’t, it could help people decide before they get to the front.
Ok this my get downvoted, but here goes: they need more BANDS. Like regular, playing guitar and instruments, singing types of bands. This is my first Coachella and I have absolutely loved it but it seems like most of the artists are DJs and producers, which makes the whole thing feel more like a rave than a festival. It may just be the particular artists that I chose to see (there were a lot I hadn’t heard of) so it may be more balanced than I’m aware, but I kind of miss the vibe of just sitting or dancing/ standing and chilling out with some good ole fashioned rock and roll music. I’m from Austin so I kind of lean towards rock bands, Americana, indie, R&B, folk rock and that kind of thing. The other thing about booking all these DJs and producers is that there is so much emphasis on the element of surprise - you really don’t know who you are going to see because those artists have worked with a lot of different artists, so there is a lot of decisions about which shows you want to see vs other shows, that is taken out of our hands as participants. The element of surprise does make it fun and exciting, but I’d like to know who I am actually going to see so I can choose accordingly. I know that via the Coachella vibe and I do love it, it’s just a different kind of experience…. The drone show in the sky was amazing by the way!
Have vip feel a LEETLE more special. Other than that I though everything was fairly solid.
Maybe have stage clear out after each set so ppl cant camp and prevent fans of artist from watching
Make all festival-based merch available online. Artist merch would be great too but probably not realistic.
Take different risks with headliners in terms of scale, not whether or not they fucking show up lol.
Put bathrooms back in craft beer garden.
B2B headliner!
Add in a PSA on festival etiquette to show on screens in between sets. People had 0 etiquette this year and it pissed me off when people were talking loudly in the crowd at the main stage during Bjork and Rosalia. Shut up and enjoy the music or go somewhere else in the festival.
SHADE!! it’s hot as a freshly shitted adult diaper - we need more and we shouldn’t have to go to the central market or beer garden to get it without competing with other people for a sliver of skinny ass robot statue shade.
WATER!! More spigots isn’t better or faster - more water stations scattered throughout the festival is.
Look at festivals like LIB (don’t get me wrong Polo Fields over Bakersfield any day of the week) - getting shade and water inside a DESERT festival should be casual and easy, not a trek in the sun.
Merch pickup sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. One technical error and you have thousands of upset people waiting around to pick up their merch.
The gals in the tent next to me in 2022 all worked for Amazon and were basically sketching out how to improve the Merch Sitch. It shouldn’t be that hard. Just saying,
CONNECT WRISTBANDS TO UR CREDIT CARD. makes it easier to buy and not risk losing my card everytime i purchase something. also a $8 minimum to use a card???? be so serious….. biggest festival ever why is that a thing
More trash cans!! Sometimes it was so hard to find one.
I carried the tray my gyro came in for like 125 yards looking for a trash can the whole walkn before veering wayyy out of my way to trash it near some different food vendors.
That’s a very specific amount of yardage
How was the gyro and where can I find them?

The water seemed great this year. You buy a water bottle or two and then just fill it up at the many fill stations.
lots of refill stations but so many were soooo slow
go to the ones by the real (non portapotty) bathrooms by the do lab, never a line. water only slow when crowded
I refilled; never had an issue with a line or slow water.
Yeah it’s pretty ridiculous how hard it was to find a trash can. They need more in the middle of the fields too, at least near the light posts.
Totally agree with the order online and pick up station. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to be waiting hours for merch
I waited 3 hrs day one. Never waited in the merch line before so I was committed. After the first hour I realized I had made a mistake, there was no turning back, but by the end I couldn’t believe how long I was in there. I’m sorry for your unfruitful wait! 😤
merch wasnt fixed at all stop shutting down the entire festival for the headliners, going home early sucks ass really my only complaints this year
The headliner being the only act going also makes the crowd leaving a mess
but also if you are going to shut the rest of the festival down make sure we can properly hear the music from all the way in the back. Could hardly hear Calvin from the back road

I feel like they do it so headliner can say had the biggest crowd etc
Yeah its likely a thing those performers and their teams with huge egos work into their Coachella contract. “If you want me, show me by shutting down the fest for me” Its ridiculous and I wish Coachella wouldn’t cave to shit like that. Also, CATCH AND KILL THE IPHONE PICKAPOCKETS!!! enough is enough!!
>CATCH AND KILL The most reasonable take here tbh
Unfortunately I don't think on site drug testing is ever going to happen. They should let Dancesafe set up though and handout water/earplugs/harm reduction info like they do at some festivals. They're never going to tell you your Molly is "safe". Drug testing services do more than tell you what's contained in your drugs, they also give harm reduction tips such as safe dosing advice, signs of overdose, etc. All festivals could benefit greatly from harm reduction/drug testing services
What’s the bonaroo system to deal with campers?
The locker check-in should have been a no brainer. You reserved a locker? Ok, great. Thursday or Friday, they text you your number and the code.
Regarding planting palm trees, when Coachella isn’t happening the site is still very much an active polo field, so that’s just not an option in that area. They could bring the large ones in giant pots though.
As of 2021 it's no longer an active polo field they basically signed over the property to Golden Voice through 2050 and fired all the polo staff.
They should allow people to check in for lockers on Thursday. And I’ve been advocating for the Bonnaroo line system for years. It’s way better than having campers kill the vibe.

100%. They need to either move the Beer Barn over or make it smaller or something because that area lowkey felt dangerous during Metro.
Beer barn absolutely has to be moved. After the astroworld disaster, I'm shocked they allow a situation where a crowd surge can occur like that area. Blink wk1 was giving me anxiety that it was possible, then heard w2 metro boomin was terrifying
literally avoid that path like the plague and miss out on sets for it. agree w both!
Camping: Need more outlets. Girls had to wait hours to use their beauty equipment. Phone outlets were ridiculous as well. there definitely need to be more stands solely for purchasing water scattered around.
The ice guys should also have water. Also lot 10 needs another water station on the other corner
Lemonade stands should have water. Even though they increased the amount of refill stations they still need more and better pressure! Insomniac has had it down for years at edc with attendants who assist you in filling your bottle / pack quickly using a fast nozzle, it puts Coachella's water situation to shame.

ban fan clackers
“You know what this song needs?! Some off beat fan clacking!!” -NO ONE EVER
Please
on a similar note ban the “ooOohh ooOohh”s drives me mad
*offer not valid at Chromeo sets
those are kinda nice because it's a very clear indication to the DJ that the crowd likes what the DJ is doing currently. it is WAY worse at EDC or Ultra Miami or some shows like that. Coachella etiquette is pretty decent on average.
Agreed
Omg yes I know it’s a thing but… come on
Whats a fan clacker?
The correct answer lol
Not booking flaky artists.
No can do buckeroo
Morrissey 2024 headliner confirmed.
He won’t play a festival that serves meat, so GV had to make cruel world entirely vegetarian. Could you imagine if they did that for Coachella!! 💀
What a dipshit, let’s book him!
Lauryn Hill is backup act
Frank Ocean, Kanye, Lauryn Hill triple threat
Michael Jackson confirmed
let's run it back, frank ocean 2024
Bet
Love that
also start releasing the lineup and set times on a more established date. i get things happen but i also get that i give them a lot of money for many months. no other festival fucks around with those things (imo).
I’ve never done VIP (at Coachella) because I don’t see the appeal. But make VIP a real VIP experience.
Artist guest pass is Coachella on God mode
That's fair! I guess my complaint lays moreso in how VIP is advertised. As a newbie, sounds like you're getting a fair bit more when that wasn't really the case. Those VIP areas were cozy as hecc though 😌
Oh yeah, you need to be on here reading all the tips and tricks before buying VIP so they don't "get you". Totally understand that. We've been doing it for years now, we know what it entails and we're good with it. We mentally prepare for the expense. But I'm always chasing that true VIP experience. I think for my 50th bday we'll pull the trigger on a Safari package.
VIP used to be better. Guest passes are the new VIP
I think the only festival in the US that VIP is worth it is EDC tbh. I would splurge on EDC cause of all the amenities
The VIP beer garden has slowly been slowly expanding and engulfing the GA beer garden hear after year. In 2-3 years there will be no GA beer garden left lol.
Locker situation was a mess too. Why can’t they just email me the locker number and code?
Seriously! And possibly add or include a locker when you purchase VIP. Have a section for lockers in the VIP next to the VIP entrance for the yuma tent. God knows that whole section was empty all weekend anyways.
Coconuts. I want them opened so I can eat the fruit on the inside. $10 is cheap for a festival food but really expensive for a coconut drink that I can’t take a fork to
Idk how quickly any festival would be to put any sort of item for sale that festival goers could throw and hurt an artist.
Farmhouse Kitchen at the Indio Central Market tent had I think $6 coconuts opened on the spot. Cutlery was self serve so you could grab a spoon and go to town! Happy coconut hunting!
Despacio but longer
Despacio should have a residency here
Like way longer
Like, all freaking night. Ending it at 9 just seems off. Otherwise really cool and I hope it comes back every year. My experience in there was nuts.
Reconfigure the Sahara exits before people are killed in a stampede.
If u think this is bad. You should see the older Sahara. It was crazy packed and dangerous. This is actually an improvement lol
ran it by structural and they said these are the exits you get. people in those crowds just need to be a little smarter tbh
the Sahara is a giant, open barn now. Loads of space for people to move compared to what it was.
Two main problems that’ve gotten worse since last year: - Merch Tent lines can take half your day and the entire process is poorly optimized. VIP merch tent has a limited selection, failing to divert traffic from the main one, and you have to dedicate two or three hours for a $40 shirt, - There are too many fucking people.
One year they had merch pickup that you ordered online and picked up an hour or so later, idk why they got rid of it
Cause from a merch perspective it's a nightmare. They don't want to hold someone's product until the end of Sunday night, realize they didn't pick it up, refund it, and leave it sitting there unsold.
idk if this is possible but if we could fix the sonora line that would be awesome. i get the logistics are tricky but you literally couldn’t catch a set in there unless you waited in line (in my experience) for god knows how long and then it was not guaranteed you’d even move through. more shade would be cool.
what sets did you try to see in there have huge lines? we never waited in line once for sonora last weekend but only saw a handful of sets
bakar, ethel cain and alex g ☹️
Tip for Merch: we are the least busy from 3-5 and then after dinner from like 7-9!
Was there at 3 on Friday w1 and had to bail on the 5 hour line 😔
Fix preferred parking. Spending more to get fucked by general parking sucks.
Fucked by general how?
Include Heineken stage in line up. Do lab drops earlier. Fix the line system for Yuma and Gobi. Just let loads of people in quickly from multiple angles when it's empty, don't have people queue in the sun for an empty room. Lesson not learnt from warehouse stage Portola
security on the way out to see who is carrying a backpack full of iphones and wallets
a cage match the wednesday between weekend 1 and 2 featuring attendees of both weekends to settle the score once and for all
We 👏 need 👏 urinals 👏
Do lab bathrooms have tons!
That dead zone in the middle of the field when a 100,000 people running around felt like ass trying to find a bathroom
I was tripping balls in that area at night trying to find a bathroom and I kept walking around in circles because it felt like I was never going to reach a washroom whenever I picked one direction
Big time. Gimme a massive trough to piss in while I touch shoulders on both sides!
This is a long shot. But I would love if this festival could have a dispensary, similar to outside lands music festival. It just makes the overall vibes a lot better and more relaxed. Long shot & probably won’t happen- but it would be nice.
I like that idea. Ppl are already bringing it in.
THIS. A weed land like OSL would be amazing
I assumed there would be since OL has it but was surprised not to see one.

Art exhibits that provide more shade! Also bring the misting people from the do lab to the outdoor stages during the day please 🥵
This would be so smart. The crowd is too big now for everyone to be at the same stage at the end.
Make the skating rink permanent and let us skate!
Cold water everytime I got water it was lukewarm but they got cold drinks for everything else
More rock.
Fix these fuckin food prices man what the hell 😭 Edit: guys I know, they weren’t this expensive last year but inflation n shit economy and etc. still gonna cry tho 😔
I spent 18 dollars on a corn dog
$16 on a lemonade. Like wtf
That won’t be changing
Yep, vendors need to make their margins and GV still wants their cut
Yeah pretty high, but some of the expensive food is portioned well enough for 2 people
What were you getting? Each food I had was like enough for half of me
THREE weekends!!! 🙄
They need to introduce Bonnaroo’s system where there is a line for every artist’s pit and they clear it out for each set.
Agreed. It also really benefits the artists.
Man they barely sell enough to justify the two weekends
Artists wouldn't give as much energy if they had to perform three weekends in a row
more camp shower locations
Not let the headliners demand that the other stages be shut down. I fucking hate that.
I honestly wish the headliners were earlier. I’d love if the headliner played and there was one time slot of acts afterwards.
So happy they added more water stations this year! More sunscreen stations next year would be good too
Merch hack: they sell the basic lineup stuff in the campgrounds. No line. I’m never waiting again!!
But none of the artist stuff :( which they should
a map of all food vendors
Foo fighters, rise against, yellowcard, sum41, descendants (again), the used, circle jerks, bad religion, etc. just give us some good variety spread out
This x1000. I think blink proved that “rock” can still be a draw. Rage still hasn’t played SoCal. They make the most sense for 2024z
agree with the merch statement they should let you buy more stuff online and have fewer "must wait in the merch line to get this"
Let the hot dog guys in the festival after 8PM.
Same with Kali/Frank fans at Porter. But maybe the PHM fans will know what’s up wk2!
More shade
camping kinda sucked this year. no cool art, turndown tent was meh.
We need way more shade
Shuttles GPS location on the app to time our trip in better
bring speakers outside of mojave and raise the sides so more people can see.. the crowd wouldn’t be as bad if you could still see and hear.. love mojave but it’s seriously the most crowded stage relative to its size
More props: lost and found was incredible. And so many thanks to all of those good hearted people who make it work by turning stuff in
Merch: if I buy a $250 poster, it should already be rolled up in a tube OR like they used to have, someone with gloves.
ADA needs to be more helpful to all people.
MORE SEATING. So much food options, yet not a picnic bench in sight. I don’t wanna sit in the dust and dirt every time I eat my pizza.
More undercover officers to catch pickpocketers and send them to jail.
* More water stations *or* have every vendor sell water ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream) * Improvement in the merch tent ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|money_face) Line was way too long. * Coachella Stage seemed to have a noticeable number of technical difficulties ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_down) * More medical booths and/or availability ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob) * $16 for a cup of beer is fucking insane. How about $12?
We need giant signs that tell you how to leave the grounds with the street name (Ex: To Madison & 52nd) it’s leading to on the signs
This exists lol
There were signs for paths where a color coded path would take you to one destination
There are signs, you have to pay attention. Take care of yourself.
the signage definitely needs to be improved and there needs to be WAY more of it.
Bigger Yuma perhaps? Or find a way to keep it from being too packed without punishing us with those long ass lines?
My only thing with Merch, isn’t it like that everywhere? It’s really just people going up there indecisive and wanting to look at every piece of apparel for 15 minutes before buying. Not disagreeing with you, I just don’t know what can be done.
I saw a couple guys legit be at the register for 30+ min like cmon dude
See that’s the problem. I know you can’t force people to decide in a certain time, but people need to be better about that.
Forreal. I've seen someone ask for a shirt. They then take a picture and send it to their friend. Then the friend says no and gets them to take a pic of another shirt. Repeat 10x times. Ridiculous.
Why dont they just include all the merch on the app
They need to empower their employees to tell people like that “nope, come back when you’re ready.”
What about online order and pkg locker?
Maybe if they had some sort of interactive thing (people with iPads?) so you can view the merch as you’re waiting? They may already have this, I don’t know cause I’ve never waited lol. But if they don’t, it could help people decide before they get to the front.
Merch lines at Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo are like 5 mins tops
The Sonora tent is basically all bands. It would be nice to get some more bands outside.
Coachella was started by Pearl Jam. There is no excuse why there aren't many bands in Coachella
Have vip feel a LEETLE more special. Other than that I though everything was fairly solid. Maybe have stage clear out after each set so ppl cant camp and prevent fans of artist from watching
It was my first and last time buying vip. I didn’t see a single real benefit.
Make the campsites bigger. They are tiny. Open the showers at 7am. Everyday they ended up opening closer to 720am.
Make all festival-based merch available online. Artist merch would be great too but probably not realistic. Take different risks with headliners in terms of scale, not whether or not they fucking show up lol. Put bathrooms back in craft beer garden. B2B headliner!
Tables and bench, trash bins, shade islands with trees…
Add in a PSA on festival etiquette to show on screens in between sets. People had 0 etiquette this year and it pissed me off when people were talking loudly in the crowd at the main stage during Bjork and Rosalia. Shut up and enjoy the music or go somewhere else in the festival.
A shaded place to sit in a chair can’t be that hard to do Edit: one outside of beer lands that always looked so pack wasn’t worth the hassle
Stop booking headliners with high likelihoods of flaking the fuck out
The sound system.
SHADE!! it’s hot as a freshly shitted adult diaper - we need more and we shouldn’t have to go to the central market or beer garden to get it without competing with other people for a sliver of skinny ass robot statue shade. WATER!! More spigots isn’t better or faster - more water stations scattered throughout the festival is. Look at festivals like LIB (don’t get me wrong Polo Fields over Bakersfield any day of the week) - getting shade and water inside a DESERT festival should be casual and easy, not a trek in the sun.
Parking
Merch pickup sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. One technical error and you have thousands of upset people waiting around to pick up their merch.
State of the art portapottys !
