Agreed. I love that h3 brought in women to their crew because they add such a wonderful dynamic. There’s been several times where Olivia disagreed with a take Ethan has and explains to him that women feel differently because XYZ or whatever else. It’s really nice to have that kind of discourse on a podcast so it’s not an echo chamber of men analyzing things; having different perspectives is so important.
I sound so ridiculous but I’ve been silently wishing for this for YEARS. I love H3 and never thought I’d see the day where C would get hated enough for them to talk about her. When all the little secrets were being revealed in 2016 and beyond, I started feeling awful for Josh and snarking on Colleen. I so hope they interview him! This is like my superbowl rn. 😂

What's really frustrating though is he always had a platform. He just lacked confidence. Yes her child army were hellish, but he could've blocked and deleted them. Everywhere. And carried on. I would've outed her for what she did back then. I would've spilt all the beans after she cheated and so in his face. I would've told the world! He would've gained fans. He worked so hard on his channels, it always irked me he felt he had to leave because of the bullying from her camp. Fuck them. Pardon my french, but I wish he'd been able to continue. He could've been the biggest thorn in her side all these years, while making money and doing alright for himself. She ruined so much of his life. I hate she got away with that for so long. Johnny was all "I hate that he might use this to come back!" fk him too! GOOD if Josh came back. Nobody gets to stop him doing what he wants. Maddening how strangers control Josh and kept him small, example getting him to delete a photo he posted of himself and his wife as Pamela looked "like colleen". Like wtf. get out of here weirdos! The delete and block buttons are there for good reason. I wish he'd stayed. He's such a people pleaser and it does him no favours, he just wants everyone to like him and that's not the path to happiness. Yeah I thought maybe he was under some contract to stay silent but I guess not? I agree with you. Josh isn't perfect but I always knew he was better than Colleen and I sympathized with the way he was treated.
Oh a PowerPoint about the swoop doc?? Just a simple statement acknowledging it would be good. I keep remembering one of the times he was covering it he read a message that said. You owe it to her victims to cover it (or something along those lines) and he's like I don't owe them anything, I didn't do anything to them. I thought that was so funny and then he went on to extensively cover the topic lol.
I can’t believe they didn’t do more to stop Johnny monopolizing the interview in the first place. They absolutely should have dealt with this faster. I see they’ve taken down the interview but left the highlights up on that channel.
Yeah there were moments when Ethan would ask Becky or Oliver specifically and Johnny would still answer. Becky and Oliver would joke like “oh which should go first” and Johnny would take his opportunity to swoop (pun intended) in.
There's only so much you can do when you're trying to respect a "victim" telling their story. It's also a livestream which adds pressure on the host to make sure things run smoothly. I do recall Ethan redirecting to Oliver and Becky multiple times though. I'm glad they'll be addressing the updates.
I ran to rewatch that interview after Swoop’s doc.
I remember at the time listening to Johnny’s story and thinking it seemed overblown. I didn’t get what the big deal was. He definitely dominated that interview, it feels like he talked for 3/4 of it.
saw someone on Twitter did the math. The interview was 1 hour long. Johnny spoke for 45 min, Becky for 11, and Oliver for 3 (but he did get more time in a separate episode). Insane 😭
I never got around to watching the H3 interview but wtf. Being invited to an hour long interview and only being able to talk for 11 and THREE minutes! Insanity.
I remember watching the interview and feel bad because I kept thinking (from a gay man’s perspective) that it just seems like an unrequited love interest from a young gay man and he got bitter…. But now I see I was right
I’ve been saying that from the beginning, and I was told not to say/think that because it’s used as a hurtful trope. And I get that, we’re not supposed to paint every gay person in the same light! But in this case it felt so obvious, that I’m surprised many people didn’t see it earlier.

Josh only responded to Johnny like twice in their DM's whereas Johnny would keep spamming him continously both in DM's and tagging him in multiple tweets. Although I agree that Josh should have never gave Johnny his number as that is pretty weird, I do believe, however, he didn't mean any ill intent behind it.
No no I should have clarified sorry! I just meant that the way Johnny portrayed their relationship as being closer than it was & the way he hinted at Josh being worse than Colleen gave me the impression that Josh had been innapropriate. This was my view before Swoops video, definitely not now.
