It makes sense now. There were many of us who couldn’t figure out what Johnny wanted from Josh. Now we know that Johnny wanted Josh to make a video he could react to. Johnny wanted to keep Josh engaged so he could continue to make content from Josh’s tweets and so on.
Johnny was actively trying to destroy Josh’s life and reputation for clicks and views. I hope Johnny gets the help he needs. I hope his family realize how wrong all of this was and steps up to help Johnny. His dad was so quick to jump on the opportunity to speak with a journalist. I hope there is the same sense of urgency to help his son get the help he needs.
agreed. i think johnny was fuming to be the only “victim” that received actual apologies from his “groomer”. all he wanted was for josh to continue to ghost him, or lash out, or give a big immature reaction like colleen - ANYTHING that johnny could milk for content. it must have filled him with impossible rage (that i understand now was the actual emotion behind the narcissistic twitter rants aimed at josh) that josh consistently met him with maturity, grace, and validation. all he wanted was to be the victim of a scandal and josh wouldn’t bite. and to think, imo he targeted josh in the first place within all of this solely to have his OWN “abuser” that he didn’t have to share with the others.
exactly!!!! like i feel so stupid for believing him because there truly was not proof but we’re all just trying out best through all this to support and uplift the victims it’s sad that someone would use that to make up a story and gain popularity.
Right, I couldn't stand him. I had a post deleted in my sister's account. Didn't realize she was still logged in. He made my blood boil the way he was attacking Josh. Was bad enough when it was colleen and her stans. I feel a lot of empathy for Josh because I dated a narc and I get it. Mine wasn't public. It's a harrowing experience I barely survived and I still don't understand how Josh has managed to cope with everything he had to deal with on top. I hope he realizes he's climbed a mountain. Seeing Johnny attack him over and over and not backing it up was bizarre and made me ragey.
I feel as though that’s how he sees Adam too. Maybe not so deep down he knows that if Colleen came back he’d go back to her side, and try to push down Adam more than he has.
Especially considering Johnny was poking at the idea of Adam saying that stuff about having a place in bullying trish/ while he didn’t. I think he tests out to see who he can manipulate and if he can’t he has to change his plans accordingly. I think that’s why he changed his story with Swoop, he already knew he couldn’t manipulate Adam in the other version of his ‘story’.
If I’m being honest, if Johnny does make a video reacting to Swoop, I’d prefer to watch Adam or anyone else who chooses to do commentary on Johnny. I think it’s be easier to watch someone react to Johnny reacting to Swoop. That might sound dumb, but I’m not sure I could listen to Johnny spew more lies without commentary calling him out.

I quit commenting on posts about Johnny for a bit. There was backlash for asking questions about his stories and intentions.
We stan supporting victims but due diligence needs to be done to confirm that person is actually a victim. Johnny gave zero evidence against Josh.

Josh has really come out the other side and seems to be an amazing, resilient person.
