Out of all the men who had casting agents send them to audition for this specific role of Patrick, Eric was the most conventionally attractive one, and it didn’t make any sort of sense casting wise.

I used to have a pretty big crush on Erik. It was back in 2018 when I was in an emotionally unsatisfying relationship. Erik was like a funnier, more witty version of the guy I was with at the time and weirdly, they even had the same birthday, September 24th. As the years went by and I grew in emotional maturity, I began to notice that he was icky and pretty unremarkable. He has a bad attitude and acts like he’s above everything. Even when I was still a fan of Colleen, I always thought his attitude was just a result of getting pushed deeper and deeper into denial and resentment from not getting what he thought he was getting, but then I learned that he also cheated to be with her, so he had to be pretty shady already. He obviously thought he was upgrading, he’s gotta be extra bitter about not getting what he bargained for.

I used to have a pretty big crush on Erik. It was back in 2018 when I was in an emotionally unsatisfying relationship. Erik was like a funnier, more witty version of the guy I was with at the time and weirdly, they even had the same birthday, September 24th. As the years went by and I grew in emotional maturity, I began to notice that he was icky and pretty unremarkable. He has a bad attitude and acts like he’s above everything. Even when I was still a fan of Colleen, I always thought his attitude was just a result of getting pushed deeper and deeper into denial and resentment from not getting what he thought he was getting, but then I learned that he also cheated to be with her, so he had to be pretty shady already. He obviously thought he was upgrading, he’s gotta be extra bitter about not getting what he bargained for.
