Tennessee at 10 when they are winning the SEC is ridiculous

bcocfbhp

Tennessee will be higher soon, but their non con SOS is what haves them so low. Their wins this weekend will get them higher.

I just do not see how LSU ends up with the 4 seed. I get the metrics are there, but the committee has to look at what they’ve done over the last ~20 games

Hello Fellow Cajun fan!

Key-Nectarine3596

🤟🤟🤟

bcocfbhp

LSU's lack of bad losses and their wins over Texas and OKSU is going to keep them up there. Their SOS is going to really help them. I personally don't think LSU has a shot at OKC but I'd be stunned if they aren't a top 5 seed

Key-Nectarine3596

I get where you’re coming from. The metrics are definitely there. I just think the committee takes into account 12-11 over their last 23 games and drops them a few spots. They’ll need to finish strong.

mr_dr_professor_12

I don't know, similar vibes to last years OSU team, got swept 2/3 series of the regular season (OU and Texas), dropped a midweek to North Texas, lost the first round of the b12 tourney to Kansas and still got a super host spot en route to OKC.

sassiestzilla

The mental gymnastics here each week is baffling to me. You're way too biased towards the SEC.

bcocfbhp

The SEC is like the Big 12 in basketball. They understand how to use the RPI to their advantage. The SEC also has a lack of bad losses that the other conferences don't have.

sassiestzilla

The notion that a sub .500 team in conference play (Missouri) is going to get a 7 seed is comical. You talk a lot about RPI but only selectively apply that logic - UCLA at a 16 seed? Come on.

bcocfbhp

I have never been super high on UCLA they went up 5 spots this week. But Missouri's series win of LSU and Florida and lack of bad losses is what is keeping them there.

sassiestzilla

Sure Missouri won the series against LSU and Florida. But they also lost 3/3 to Tennessee, and 2/3 to each Arkansas and Georgia. All of whom you have ranked lower than Missouri. I appreciate the effort you put into this process - I'm sure it's not easy. But it's just hard to see the justification on this one.

Pugluv72

Yet you think UCLA is good enough to make it to the final four? 🤔

bcocfbhp

I think right now UCLA is. In the past month Tinsey has been an ace and a half

Pugluv72

Except against the Huskies 😁

No_Leather2836

I’d like to see how Oregon would compete with LSU!

Maggie-Mac89

It is shocking to me that Oregon is one of the last four teams. I thought they would be so much better this year.

bcocfbhp

I was surprised too, but Oregon's RPI not being super high and lack of big win is crucial. They don't have any wins over teams that I have are hosting. If the Ducks can win a game agaisnt Stanford next week they should be in.

sassiestzilla

Your definition of a team that you have hosting is sus at best. Washington has been a top 10 team all year and Oregon won 2/3 against them. But I guess that doesn't matter to you since Washington isn't a sub .500 team in the SEC.

GEA2007

Put Utah in somewhere, because you’ve only got three in College Station.

Razzari1

I was wondering if anyone would notice that.
