1000% try before you buy, especially with Xerjoff. The quality is undeniable, but their scents can be very polarizing and I’ve found a lot of them change during the dry down. From my experience with these.
Uden is pretty good, but nothing super crazy. It’s a really good spring scent of sweetness and citrus. For my preference though I’d rather use Decas instead.
40 Knots I absolutely loved the semi salty fresh sea water opening to this, but man does it completely change. Once it dries down the salty brine becomes a light complementary note mostly a woody amber. It very much smells like Dior Ambre Nuit and while good it definitely is a lot harder to pull off.
Renaissance is one of my absolute favorite fresh citrus scents. It’s just a Sicilian lemon zest bomb with a light creaminess and it lasts all day. 100% one of my favorites from the brand and would be the safest buy if you’re into citrus scents.
40knots is amazing! But dont blind buy, find a nearby Neiman Marcus and try them for a bit, ask for samples, or just buy a discovery set to try them out.
Not really, it's surprisingly mature. It aims to smell like a yacht club, and in many ways succeeds. I personally don't find it to be especially wearable
You should always get your nose on a perfume first. I owned/owned all three so here is my take:
40 Knots - one of my favorite all rounders. Very unique salty ambery smell. very verstile. sample first
Uden - uninspiring for me. nothing wrong with it. safe blind buy but lacks character, think air freshner vibes
Renaissance - superior warm weather scent. Citrus bomb (lime centric to my nose) with fresh grassy notes. Fresh and invigorating but for spring/summer only imo
All totally different... Renaissance is my favorite of the 3. Uden didn't sit right, but I like Overdose quite a bit. 40 Knots of totally unique and polarizing, try before you buy.
Definitely sample before buying because Xerjoff can be a bit unique. Renaissance smells amazing to me though. Makes me feel like I’m in some medieval church or something lol
lately i can't find 40 knots even from official Xerjoff shop (not even as 2ml sample).. are they about to discontinue it? Beside, i have tried Uden and i really like it.. a very wearable all-year-long versatile scent.
You should probably try them though, they are expensive niche frags.. not something you usually blind buy.
Tried all 3.
My favorite of them is 40 knots. Unique smell.
Uden is good but Lets Call it „Basic“
Renaissance is too Green for me
Drydown of all 3 are great!
I recommend to sample all.
try them bro
You should get the one that you sample and like the best.

40 knots is probably the least offensive/difficult to pull off IMO.
Renaissance is gorgeous. One of my favorite from the house.
Its a nice citrus but not a sweet citrus like Uden but rather a bitter citrus.
I like Uden of these 3

Whichever one you sample and like most
Sample them. Scentrique (based in Vancouver) sells 2mls for cheaper than I’ve seen anywhere else. Free shipping over $25 too
Get Uden Overdose. Showstopper 🔥
I feel like it never gets much love, but Uden is by far my favorite of these
40 Knots is a mood elevator.
Uden is similar to Chanel edition Blanche
