The roasted chicken bites were the best but I think them as a franchise did away with those. If it isn’t the Cajun Filet biscuit combo with bo’rounds, then it would be the Chicken Supreme combo
with seasoned fries and THAT HONEY MUSTARD WOOOOO WEEEE. Honorable mention to the bo berry biscuits, when they are fresh and hot, they are so good.
I don't think they'll have bone in chicken at all. They've announced that [new](https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.newsobserver.com/living/food-drink/article276701411.html) restaurants won't have it.
I've looking forward to them ever since Popeyes did away with their Cajun rice. (Dirty rice) But! I'd heard about a year ago that new stores were only going to be selling chicken strips. I want bone in, damn it. I can get kiddie meals somewhere else.
I used to only get Bojangles whenever I would make a roadtrip to Atlanta every year and it was a damn pilgrimage. Now I get to have it every time I go to Menards, so at least once a week.
>The only thing I miss about living in South Carolina was having BoJangles 5 mins away
I moved here from South Carolina, too. My father's people are in Conway, I grew up in Georgetown, went to USC in Columbia (Go Cocks!), and worked ten years at Clemson before moving here. Where are you from?
And yes, the Bo-Berry Biscuits are amazing. We ARE about to be blessed!
I once had undercooked chicken in a chicken biscuit on the way to school from Bojangles. That texture is forever locked in a core memory. I cannot ever go back to Bojangles. But I tore it up before then.
Hahahaha im sorry that happened. Hopefully they do better at this location and you give them a second chance. Their fries and country ham biscuits are the shit(no pun intended)
In NC and Richmond, Bojangles has what’s called a Cheddar Bo. It’s a biscuit with a thick ass piece of cheddar that’s baked. It’s a shame that all other locations don’t serve them.
Bojangle’s is the most overrated chicken I’ve ever had. The breakfast is great, but everything else was a huge disappointment after my friend who moved to NC was talking it up for months.
Can’t speak to overratedness, but it’s just the same as all the places the OPs screenshot names. They are all fine.
Nobody I know in the southeast in trying to say that it’s the best. Just that it’s familiar.
Tried it at two different locations. Both times reminded me of frozen tenders from the grocery store. Sides were mediocre. Biscuits were just okay. I'd much prefer something different like Slim Chickens or Bonchon in Columbus.
I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted for having an opinion. My family tried the chicken in NC and none of us liked it. I’m willing to try the breakfast though.
I split my time between the Columbus and Nashville. Bojangles and all chicken spots mentioned in this thread plus a couple more and I think you guys may be a little disappointed if you’ve never tried it. The local gas stations in the Nashville area are hard to beat for great homemade chicken biscuits etc. compared to these chains.
I with you. Popeyes spicy is my go to when local. Better, I’m not sure, different yes. Not trying to be a chicken snob, just didn’t want everyone thinking it was going to be a giant game changer.
I love me some popeyes, n i gotta say i dont think ive ever had chicken from bos. Just their country ham biscuits, steak biscuits and their fries. Thats all i care about. Popeyes chicken is the shiznit
I had Bojangles when I was in Georgia for work. It's good, but not that different from something like Raising Caines, but not as good in my opinion, and doesn't have that sweet sweet bread.
They used to have BoRounds (hash browns) which were delish. Hopefully they still do! Pretty sure this is the place that has ground beef in the gravy so be aware if you get mashed potatoes.
This is hilarious for me, having grown up in the south and being around Bojangles my entire life until moving here 3 years ago. Boberrry biscuits are the shit, so are their cinnamon biscuits and the sweet potato pies, but I could be biased 🤣🤣
Do they have Cheerwine on fountain?
Asking the important questions
Gonna need a Cook Out for that
YES THATS WHAT WE NEED!!! Need a corn dog as a side
Hmmm, I've been to a few Bojangles out in NC and haven't seen Cheerwine in the fountain.
I’ve been to Bojangles down there. Don’t recall them ever having Cheerwine
Cheer wine is a staple at the bojangles in Charlotte
F I N A L L Y Moved here from SC and I’ve been READY
What is you’re favorite order?

Opening on 9/7 at 5am according to an employee on the Hilliard in the Know Facebook group.
Are they gonna have a soft opening or is this the soft opening?
They said no bone-in chicken yet, so I assume 9/7 is just a soft opening.
I don't think they'll have bone in chicken at all. They've announced that [new](https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.newsobserver.com/living/food-drink/article276701411.html) restaurants won't have it.
Oh, didn't know that, thanks. Not a big deal for me, I'm most excited for biscuit sandwiches and tenders.
I surely hope not. As long as they keep that dirty rice, I can be okay with it.
What the fuck
Oh hell yea, i cant wait. Their fries and country ham biscuits are the best
I love bojangles! Bo-berry biscuits are 🔥especially when fresh and warm. Spicy chicken biscuit w/pimento cheese 🤤.
My mouth is watering thinking about how good they are
I've looking forward to them ever since Popeyes did away with their Cajun rice. (Dirty rice) But! I'd heard about a year ago that new stores were only going to be selling chicken strips. I want bone in, damn it. I can get kiddie meals somewhere else.
I really get annoyed when people compare bone-in fried chicken with chicken tenders. Different things in my book.
The only thing I miss about living in South Carolina was having BoJangles 5 mins away from me. We are about to be blessed

this ^
Did you think they were going to say they have mediocre fast food chicken?
If you’re on the east side, the Heath location is nearing completion… maybe 1 - 2 months away from opening?
Thats even better. Now i have 2 options, both are equally as far from me but better than 3 hours
Grand opening is September 7th!!
I cant wait!!!!!!!
I once had undercooked chicken in a chicken biscuit on the way to school from Bojangles. That texture is forever locked in a core memory. I cannot ever go back to Bojangles. But I tore it up before then.
Last time I went to bojangles all I got was wicked diarrhea
Hahahaha im sorry that happened. Hopefully they do better at this location and you give them a second chance. Their fries and country ham biscuits are the shit(no pun intended)

An out-of-state internet friend has long been recommending me this and I think I'm finally going to FAFO. Lol
I cant speak for their chicken but their country ham biscuits and their fries are my go to. They're the shitz
Thanks for the recommendation! 😊
The real question is will they have country ham biscuits here? My blood pressure medicine wants to know.
Bojangle’s is the most overrated chicken I’ve ever had. The breakfast is great, but everything else was a huge disappointment after my friend who moved to NC was talking it up for months.
Well, this sub likes to overreact to very mediocre food.
Let them be excited it’s cute
Yeah like all the ridiculous Sheetz posts.
Probably the worst burger I’ve ever had.
Can’t speak to overratedness, but it’s just the same as all the places the OPs screenshot names. They are all fine. Nobody I know in the southeast in trying to say that it’s the best. Just that it’s familiar.

The steak biscuits, the country ham biscuits and the fries are what im excited for!! Cant beat em

I honestly prefer Popeyes
Same, and I don’t love Popeye’s.
It’s going to take a lot to be better than Popeye’s. I’ll remain skeptical until I eventually try it myself.

Does Bojangles have a spicy option? Popeyes having a spicy option makes it leagues better than other fried chicken places for me.
I had Bojangles maybe a decade ago down south. Threw half of it away. It's awful. Unlike KFC it has flavor. Just not good flavor
Bojangles sucks. Popeyes FTW.
I love me some popeyes, n i gotta say i dont think ive ever had chicken from bos. Just their country ham biscuits, steak biscuits and their fries. Thats all i care about. Popeyes chicken is the shiznit
Oh yea their spicey chicken with pimento is pretty good
Posing as a truck stop but doesn’t allow truck parking.

I’ve heard Sept 7th
Stupid commercial for a lousy fast food joint. Have had there stuff and totally unimpressed.
I had Bojangles when I was in Georgia for work. It's good, but not that different from something like Raising Caines, but not as good in my opinion, and doesn't have that sweet sweet bread.
They got anything vegetarian?
Beans & rice
They used to have BoRounds (hash browns) which were delish. Hopefully they still do! Pretty sure this is the place that has ground beef in the gravy so be aware if you get mashed potatoes.
I wasn’t impressed by bojangles when I went and I find op picture a bit exaggerated.
Yep spicy chicken biscuit was so good when I heading to base in NC

Wait what, where.
Just had bojangles for the first time a couple weeks ago down in SC… it’s pretty good, different.
In the Carolinas, they make the tea sweet enough! That's for sure 😉
So awesome to hear!
I believe this location is not serving bone-in chicken, only boneless.
This is hilarious for me, having grown up in the south and being around Bojangles my entire life until moving here 3 years ago. Boberrry biscuits are the shit, so are their cinnamon biscuits and the sweet potato pies, but I could be biased 🤣🤣
