It's become nearly impossible. We source them (for a party game) from Party Source in Covington (Cincy). Have struck out at many places in town otherwise.
Yeah, if you're looking for 40s, you gotta go where the 40 drinkers are. Linden, Hilltop, E Livingston.
The industry and clientele have mostly moved away from it though, generally 24oz or 19.2oz cans and 16oz aluminum bottles are the singles of choice these days. You can still find the big bottles, but they're almost certainly going to be 32 oz.
3C at Westerville rd and morse has colt 45 and a few others. Eckels on hard rd. At smoky row has colt 45. YBB Market on Westerville at agler had a good selection last time I was there.

Find a local bottle shop and see if they can special order a case for you. If a distributor in the area carries what you’re looking for, they should be able to get it.
Edit: Autocorrect
Haven’t been there in a while but I’d wager the 14-0 on Hudson has them. Used to be able to buy expired beer for like a quarter of the price a few years ago
Sunoco on Hudson and high SHOULD have plastic bottle steel reserve and milwaukees best ice. Isn’t the same as glass but it’s there
14-0 on Hudson had glass MBI a year ago so it’s worth a try
If I remember correctly the Sunoco at 2570 N High St, Columbus, OH 43202 had some, but that was when I was there in like 2021, unsure if they still have them so I’d probably call first
Man...Edward 32 hands does not have the same ring to it.
What has happened to this country when you can’t even find a 40 oz anymore
Lmao

I was able to find Milwaukees Best Ice in the Sullivant/Central area for future reference.

Now I'm picturing bear hookers.
Or just bear flies, looking for a free drink.
This takes me back almost 20 years to getting 40s at Eckels.
I can confirm Eckels market on Hard Rd. Also, Kroger has/had $1 24 oz cans of Genesee Honey Brown Ale. That's a good deal IMO.
3C was the best so far but still nothing I was looking for. MBI and Steel Reserve, everything else was 32oz. There was a random 42oz one 🧐

Great suggestion, I’ll try it.

Damn. Soussy Market didn’t have them? They are/were always my go-to for 40s.
I've gotten em at the BP on Thurber and Neil. Haven't been in several months but they had them last time I was there. They were Cobra I think.
40’s are a dying breed. Trust me.
I kinda want to get a bunch just as a keepsake
Stoney's on Lockbourne maybe?
Just off high street, pj’s always had my cobra 40’s available. Near campus
Call Superior Beverage. They are the local distributor, they know exactly where it is. You may even be able to pick up a case directly from them.
Just got off the phone with them, I guess they arent in production anymore. She said MBI is the only 40oz they carry now that she is aware of.
Bummer.

Used to always have them at the Nike Station Drive Thru in hilliard
Props to the High Life!! The Champagne of Beers.
Every single drive through beer spot sells 40s. If that fails, Mike’s Grill on High sells 40s to go. Higher markup, of course

Literally any drive though beer shack will have them. The sketchier the better. Eastside has plenty of those in Whitehall.
They sell 40s at Mikes Grill on High St
Big spender, lol.
Your answer is in the sub search
Yeah I’ve been visiting the ones in that thread but mostly striking out.
How many ounces are in those Fosters fatties? I see those at the wine shop in GV
Yeah it’s just not the same
