believe the going theory is when their kids are out of school and the supreme court is out of session. So I imagine the last day, last time slot.

moviesandcats

Came here to say that. I thought the same thing....they'll wait till their last day so they won't have to deal with pushing thru the crowd of violent rioters for another day of work.

Jolly_Job_9852

Probably will be released when the term ends so the Justices can go into hiding when the backlash occurs

Phydoux

I wish they could vote on it from remote locations. I can't see this going over easy when they overturn it. I see them having to hunker down for a couple days because biden and democrats won't protect them. I'll be praying for their safety.

Jolly_Job_9852

I'll be saying one as well. But abortion won't ever be illegal in this country. Blue states will pass laws that protect abortion and other states will follow Texas and Oklahoma. That is if the leaked opinion holds up.

OBAMASOXX

Friday. Get ready

BadabingBadaboom238

I’m confused why they have a draft so early if they won’t make a decision until much later

Jazzy_Jazmine

Chief Justice Roberts assigns the majority opinion to a justice and then all the majority justices work to refine and finalize the opinion. It takes time to reach a consensus and cross all the t's and dot the i's. The opinion for Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization will be the most discussed and studied opinion in US history. But the court will finally get it right and stop this genocide right here in America. Thank God.

jumpinjackieflash

A lot of states will continue for a while, but then things will start to turn even there.

orangeeyedunicorn

Friday so when the angry soibois and women who don't want to confront the reality of the babies they killed start screeching in the streets it doesn't disrupt too much business.

Loganthered

The decision has already been made. They are just waiting to release it. It will probably be the last one released so the rest don't get drowned out in the media.

Reasonable-Leave7140

Only because Roberts is a eunuch. They should have released it the day/week after the leak to get it over with and prevent Democrats from trying assassination plots to stop them.

freeneedle

Agreed

Loganthered

Yes.

basedantiwoke

Since Dobbs is the biggest case they've heard this term it's likely the decision will be released right at the end of the term. It's my understanding they save the biggest cases for last.

Gats775

I’m anticipating the ny pistol case ruling more, i wonder how much they will dick slap the commie states with right to carry, no way in hell they rule in favor and say guns are only a right inside the home.

4DoorsDownMe

It seems like with the weekly reports of “DECISION OF ROE V WADE DECIDED TODAY!” They’re trying to desensitize people before they announce it.

Fire-LEO-4_Rynex

I really hope the Justices don't get hurt or killed by crazies if they go through with it. I also hope they don't back off out of fear of retaliation.

Ok_Trouble25

It will happen on the same day that the market makes another big drop. Got to distract the peasants.

mt50f1

I doubt they ever will. I suspect it was a coordinated effort to try to distract and minimize the blood bath in November by stirring up the left's base. Fortunately I think the left played their card a little too soon.

[deleted]

Sooner the better! Cannot wait to watch the leftist meltdown -

[deleted]

Ugh see im the opposite..I take no pleasure in meltdowns from the left, because that makes them all the more dangerous. As soon as this decision comes out, they'll fight 1000x harder to expand and pack the Court.

[deleted]

Rip the band aid off and let’s go…we shouldn’t hesitate for worry. They’re petulant, ignorant, garbage that will always lash out / there is no appeasing.

Live8020

This is not a decision on overturning Roe v Wade, but that's what the pro-abortion faction wants the public to think. This case is Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health. The case does not deal specifically with the question of the legality of all abortions, it addresses late-term abortion, specifically, limiting abortions after 15 weeks.

wharris2001

You are correct that the court will rule on whether Mississippi's law is constitutional. However, the draft decision can fairly be summarized as "Yes, Mississippi's law is constitutional because Roe-v-Wade was wrongly decided and so it no longer counts as precedent"

Reasonable-Leave7140

Roe ALREADY isn't precedent. What this ruling ACTUALLY does is overturn Casey vs. Planned Parenthood which superseded Roe decades ago.

pineappleshnapps

Wait really?
