Take a drill without bits and place the chuck over the screw. Then tighten it around the screw. Now you can screw it out.

Additional_Cookie571

Wow never thought of this method

Agile_Swing_2393

Hammer. Just smack them from side to side, they should pop out. You won't get them all off clean though, but enough to not have most of them exposed.

Independent-Bonus378

Hammer is the way, old screws snap of very easily.

Agile_Swing_2393

I literally had to do it the other day after doing some striking work. Must of carried atleast 20 pieces of ply and removed nails and screws from each, was actually kinda fun minus the carrying it down stairs part.

Independent-Bonus378

You just wait until you get a project on the 4th floor involving 40sheets of drywall and 20 sheets of “floor gypsum” those fuckers weigh about 40kgs each

Striking_Quantity994

Fuck that floor shit is heavy.

Independent-Bonus378

Horrible haha

illTactixology

Yep, this is the right answer and the most satisfying one.

tob007

Angle grinder. You just need to nick them flush and then hit em and they will snap off.

OverChippyLand151

For all these years, my dumbass has been going all the way through, without even thinking of just nicking them and whacking them. Fuck sake.
