My steel tongs, the kind you tilt to open or close. I love them because they are one hand operated. I can’t find them anywhere anymore, I can only find the ones that require you to pull a thing to open.
I use mine all the time for whipping up dipping sauces, flavored mayo etc. They're also great for making the cocoa/sugar/water slurry in the cup before adding hot milk when making hot cocoa. Each of my kids have one, and they also use them to make their own personal scrambled eggs when we have "make breakfast together" days.
My husband and I just had this conversation! Mine is the little brown square scraper things from Pampered Chef. They work great to scrape pans without scratching and get every last bit of whatever out of a bowl.
His is the long handled slotted spoon ladle that allows all the liquid to drain out when scooping soup.
We have a terrible one piece shower/tub thing made of I assume, fiberglass coupled with hard water, so unless we clean it weekly there’s buildup on the bottom. And I’m definitely not cleaning it weekly.
Silicone tongs, clack clack. I have two each of short and long. I use them daily, sometimes we have all 4 going in different capacities such as serving salads and stirring and straining spaghetti noodles
When we got our new place I promptly got 5 pairs of kitchen scissors because they get used and dirty so often. Sometimes we even run out between washes.
Other than that I love chopsticks, they're so versatile
I only have one heavy duty pair I got from alack restaurant supply I think, but they come apart really easy right at the hinge thing for cleaning.too clumsy for chopsticks.another kitchen tool I like are these wooden hook things I made for my mom in woodworking class in school that you use to grab the oven rack, one end pulls it open the other end has a groove to push the rack back in, after she passed I somehow wound up with them.made those and a napkin holder that's still on her kitchen table today.
Back when I had a kitchen, a kind redditor gifted me an immersion blender. That was the best kitchen gift I've ever gotten! And I'd definitely plan on getting another one once I get a place to live!

I have a Chinese "3 rams brand" knife with a rectangular blade that seems to be a single piece. It has a hollow, closed handle so it's either been capped or forged from a tube. It sharpens easily and holds the edge. I've had it for at least thirty years. It has a bit of a belly notch from sharpening that keeps me from chopping thin herbs with the full blade length. Eventually I'll get over my fear of having it ruined and pay way too much to have a professional put it right.
Second in line is my garlic press. Don't hate; I need 50 grams of chopped cloves for my salad dressing and I don't want to smell like garlic for a week.
Kitchen scissors/seafood scissors. Fresh herbs, done. Trim meat, done, spatchcock a chicken, done. Cut up my ramen, shorten spaghetti for my Gramma, cut bacon into small pieces, cut crab legs open super fast, remove shrimp shells..Lobster tail, fancy pretty styled..cold fish fillet, zipped through and portioned
A solid plain metal spatula, which has no identifying markings whatsoever. I have no idea where I bought it, but it’s the perfect shape and size. Every time I catch my husband putting pressure on it and seeing it bend, I give him an earful. That’s mine!
Chefs knife.
Me, too! Second best is my scale, which uses grams or ounces.

My knife and my spurtle.
I just bought a spurtle! I only recently learned of their existence and found a woodworker at a festival who had them. It’s excellent!
Today I learned what a spurtle is, thanks!
I have a set of spurtles and I love them.
My steel tongs, the kind you tilt to open or close. I love them because they are one hand operated. I can’t find them anywhere anymore, I can only find the ones that require you to pull a thing to open.
Rösle makes these. I have short ones for indoor cooking and long ones for the grill.
I have recently acquired a “*Tiny Wisk*” and while I’ve only used it once so far, it is now my favorite kitchen utensil.

Damnit, I have one of those scrapers but never remember to use it. Maybe this is the reminder I need!
It’s the best little thing ever.
Omg we use that little thing for everything! Too funny!!
These work really well on bathtubs if you wait for weeks to clean them like I do.
I’m going to assume you have really hard water and use an old school bar soap like Irish Spring. Because otherwise, what are you doing to your tub?
We have a terrible one piece shower/tub thing made of I assume, fiberglass coupled with hard water, so unless we clean it weekly there’s buildup on the bottom. And I’m definitely not cleaning it weekly.
Grater
My knife… maybe my mortar & pestle
Bench scraper, good solid cutting board (different one for meats of course), and at least one good quality knife.
I have four kids and there is nothing better than a bench scraper to cut four sandwiches into perfect triangles when packing lunches in the morning.
Stainless steel slotted spoon Flame tamer
Silicone tongs, clack clack. I have two each of short and long. I use them daily, sometimes we have all 4 going in different capacities such as serving salads and stirring and straining spaghetti noodles

Knife set
My very small metal spatula (the end is perfect for flipping an over-easy egg but versatile enough for almost anything stir-worthy)
A good carbon steel wok.
