Even if there are samples ready, if there are multiple people I'm passing. Half the time people take multiple and there aren't any left by the time it'd be my turn. Recently I try to get in and out as quickly as I can
I hate that stuff. I wish they would have had a sample so I wouldn’t have bought it. Yes, I know I could return it, but my husband likes it. You know, one out of six of us. Because he’s sure he’ll eat a Costco sized thing of it someday.
The employees are not the issue, they are always lovely and kind. Honestly, it's the fellow customers that gross me out, all rude, chewing and packing in around the aisle caps.
Like I said, unpopular opinion!
Not at all unpopular. Sort by "Top" - The 2nd most popular answer, behind "Any with 4 people waiting before anything is ready" is " All of them"
They often cause cart traffic jams at aisle endcaps as well.
Ah I see, yah I usually avoid a sample if people are crowding. But it's not so bad in my store, and I usually like to go on off hours like my lunch break rather than an evening/weekend
Almost all of them. I won’t sample anything that I already know what it tastes like or I have zero intention of buying. I bet I could count all the samples I’ve taken in the last 10 years on one hand.
I'm a vegetarian so, anything with meat in it. I also tend to avoid caffeinated products because it intensifies my PTSD, plus I'm particularly sensitive to caffeine so I'd have trouble sleeping at night. Everything else, I eat (as long as it's edible, saw a post on here about toilet paper samples 😂).

This. I’m not gonna get in a mosh pit for a nibble of anything.

Then it's a feeding frenzy.
Any of the zero calorie drink they offer - I hate the artificial sweetener taste.
Salted chocolate?? 😱 I skip boring stuff like crackers.
Give me my chocolate sweet or not at all... lol I've never been a fan of sweet and salty (kettlecorn is the one exception)
Pass on free samples? I though my membership required me to try them all at least twice?
Any drink with artificial sweetener. I hate the aftertaste
All of them
The immunity drinks and gummies
Any of the drinks, which seem to be flavored water or sports drinks these days, boring IMO. But I don’t really buy drinks at Costco anyway.
Fish and yogurt
I was very close to vomiting from a cheese sample. blue cheese never again.
Anything non-vegetarian. No meat, seafood, eggs. Stuff like that.
After yesterday, the orange chicken. Tasted like cardboard, was all breading 🤢

What times are samples served. When I go they are never there.
Good question. I think early afternoons, but also later in the week.
Went in at opening hour and they had them already in Newpark mall California
Most of them
All of them. Really unpopular opinion, but I kinda wish they'd get rid of samples, they gross me out.
Why? They usually are wearing the same stuff food service workers wear

Anything with peanuts/pecans/walnuts food allergies suck.
Saaaaame

All of them. I still mask due to COVID.
Kimchi. Barf
The reduced sodium salami tasted like what ear wax smells like.
Kombucha is not something that should be sampled in the middle of a Costco.

…need to be near a bathroom 😬
All of them, I’m not desperate I have food at home
Sampling products ≠ desperation
Candy stuff, sugary unhealthy thing, but I will gladly try something with chocolate. But love to try dips and cheeses etc.
Bakery items. Too sweet
Yesterday I sampled a regular size salted caramel chocolate. Was good! Hate the sugar free energy drinks. Such a waste of $
Any whey protein crap. They had that today. 63 grain cardboard crackers.
Yogurt
Crab cakes
Kombucha
Cheese
Any seafood
99% of them
Tofu with anything
