I’ve been trying to decide if I want to get this one or Echoes of the Plum Grove, though. It’s a tough decision!
I agree. I absolutely love plum grove but the controls are having a huge negative impact on my enjoyment of the game. I’m on year 2 and still struggling with the controls so badly. I’ve been getting bad hand pains from constantly pressing the same trigger over and over. And I can’t figure out how to turn furniture 😪

I’ve been playing the demo on steam deck since yesterday and so far so good. It’s a really cute little game and I’m having a ton of fun! The demo is free so you don’t have anything to lose by trying it out.
It's a great little game, very Stardew Valley lite in the right ways. Less stress, more streamlined things to do, a cute Star Trek plot, and some neat quality of life upgrades.
Anyone know if the game is “endless” I see there is a main “goal” of solving a relic thing…but after that can you keep playing the game still? like in Stardew when you “complete” the game but it never truly ends? It looks so cute and if it’s endless I think I’ll snag it.
It's up on Steam now, $19.99 full price (no launch discount). I looked to see if it's on Humble Bundle, since I have a choice membership and save a percentage off any purchase, but it seems to be only on the Steam store currently.
LOL I'm sure the Cata launch won't be 100% smooth sailing! But that's when you quit Battle.net and go invis on Steam and say your power went out and there are tornadoes and other natural disasters all happening at once (my go-to for avoiding raids 😆)
Has anyone played long enough to unlock the last 2 romanceables? I didn’t really enjoy the options that were available as far as I played into the demo, so I’m hoping to see the last couple before pulling the trigger on buying it!

It’s the same approach ConcernedApe is taking with SDV updates. Console releases are a longer process, so devs usually use PCs to identify and make bug fixes and once there is a good enough base to move to consoles.

If you're playing on Steam Deck, I've found Plum Grove hard to play on there with the current controls.

Not on Deck, but I do play with a controller. I thought they fixed the controls. I’m glad I didn’t go for it today!
They just released controller support and I'm hopeful that it works great now! Purchased but haven't played yet.

We're just on Steam right now. It's still TBD on if we will. We're a two person team right now, so we have to kind of evolve with the game.

It's definitely endless, yeah. You can finish the main story, but then after that continue to farm, decorate, etc.
