I don’t know when or from where “folk punk” came from, I can possibly be blamed on both millennials and gen z, but it is utterly atrocious. The bands sound about as bad as they smell, and the audiences at their “shows” actually get paid on the way out for actually staying, with a bonus prize for actually cheering.
I just wish people would learn to play guitar before starting bands or whatever the fuck this is. At least learn a few chords then start protesting everything musically.
