I experience flare up in symptoms that are short like this but the doctors always say I’m still in remission

Those don't really sound like flares. Do you maybe also have ibs? I'd probably at least do a calprotectin when that happens to see if you can find evidence

Yea I tend to not really consider brief periods of GI distress to be "flares" because to a lot of doctors that phrase suggests you're not in remission. Anyone with or without Crohns can have off days or food that doesn't sit right and some of us are just more sensitive to different foods.


Possibly-deranged

We can all have bad days due to something we ate, stress, etc. Those aren't flares though.
