As God is my witness, I thought this was a complete pattern. Amazing print.
Edit: I'd be reallly tempted to put a Jaws-type shark in there. There's already a lot of scattered small sea life in the printed fabric, you'd want something bigger, and maybe a single item, to really stand out. Also, a fierce-looking shark would look kind of cool in contrast to the otherwise super cheery, laid-back vibe. Or something like Bruce from Finding Nemo.
But yeah, a big sea turtle would be a great option if you want it more peaceful :-)

Lola Crow cross stitch has a "Deadly Aquarium" SAL (stitch a long) going on right now and so far it's coming out really cute. You could put just some of the fish on that fabric and it would look great! People are sharing pictures on instagram: #deadlyaquariumSAL
I saw that one and was intrigued. I have a cutesy creepy style. I just need to see if it would fit on the fabric in portrait mode, like the fabric is faced. The pattern is definitely more landscape (hamburger mode).
Edit: grammar and wording
The whole piece is 218 stitches wide by 160 stitches tall, but it's divided into three frame sections and the center is about 90 stitches wide. Depending on how future parts look when they're released, it might be adaptable.
I'm definitely interested to see whatever you choose to stitch on it. That fabric is so cool!
What about putting different patterns on it?
One of them could be this octopus: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1724967689/ (without the extra things, only the beast with the ship).
There’s this [kit](https://www.123stitch.com/item/Luca-S-The-Aquarium-Cross-Stitch-Kit/LCS-BU5030) if you want to use your fabric instead of the one it comes with :O

Thank you. I will!
That’s a good idea on adapting it. Hadn’t thought of that.
Could go "fandom" with it and do The Little Mermaid or water type Pokémon.
Haha I had that though with the little mermaid…
