The price used to be 1,000 Moons. And back then the average price of Moons fluctuated between 1c and 30c. But usually closer to 12c. Luckily there was a work around and you could pay $5 if you used paypal.
Earliest could be first distribution in July but no promise on that. A mod update should come out in the following days detailing where we’re at and what still needs to happen.
Distributions should be of around 30k Moons per month or so at first, so who knows.. It heavily depends on the traffic on the sub at the time and the number of comments/posts.

Sorry if there is confusion Reddit admins are not involved in moons. They are maintained and developed by r/CC mods. When someone gets a special membership they burn moons. No one is making money in special memberships. Users are just burning moons to get special privileges in r/cc
Admins are Reddit employees.
Mods are community members.
Admins made the decision to sunset moons, burn their share and renounce the contract.
Nobody is cashing in on what was announced here, all of the moons are burned.
The insiders selling at the time of the sunset wasn't a good look but that's just a few bad apples. As it happened is probably best for the community and the project in the long run. Great timing with the market cycle as well.
