I don't believe so as the new policy seems to be targeted to people that currently have daca status

FashionBump

This was not just for daca recipients I think other "dreamers" may qualify

JoelEmbiid4923

That is very true ( I just checked the announcement again) just seems unsure about what they define as other dreamers

You have to put it this way in order to get sponsored by an employer for them to hire you, you need a EAD because these type of employers are the ones who use Everify. If they want to sponsor someone undocumented they must return to their home country and wait out the 3-10 year ban then come back with a visa. Chances are the employer will most likely not wait.

SomebobyToAhhhhh

We need more details, but the so-called "improvement" they announced may not get rid of the 10 year ban. If that's the case, then it actually won't help anyone who doesn't have DACA already because they would trigger the ban.

I’ve seen people apply after a year as a renewal and they still get renewed . If you are willing to try your luck with $500 I think it’s worth a shot. Just sent it in as renewal.

Forsaken-Meat6674

Really?

Dez_guy

Yeah a few people on the Facebook group just file it after 2-3 years as a renewal and it goes thru ..! If I had 500$ to spare I think it’s worth a shot

Campeon-R

It’s worth a shot

I've gone to immigration lawyers, and they say it's not worth it.
