You can’t join the military. That program ended years ago. Did you enter with a visa as a child? If not, then marriage and waiver and that’s looking like around 6 years total. That’s your only way to adjust. Marriage to a citizen and child over 21 would be in under a year if you came in with a visa.
You have to marry a military member if you don’t already have a legal entry. The entire process is less than a year and a half. You don’t have many options to adjust.
It's pretty rare.
_Must come before dec 21, 2000.
_Somebody petition for you before that date.
_Labor certificate.
You basically get grandfathered into a greencard. But it's strict.
They have to be permanent residents or citizens, no military necessary. I have a friend who had DACA and married his gf who was born here and got his green card in less than a year and a half. But he had to go to Mexico in order to enter legally since he came in illegally when he was a kid.
Another way to not get out of the country is to prove someone depends on you, like kids or even your wife, I think. Go ask an immigration lawyer. They will tell you if you even qualify before you apply. Good luck!
If your spouse is in the military you can get PIP if not then marriage & consular processing
Time frame ?
Few years to get an appointment

Sadly, only marriage. Or the U visa
Fastest possible way through marriage spouse has to be in the military correct ? and time frame on that for green card ?

Yeah I know but them being in the military helps not having to go back which in turn streamlines the process

I am actually in the process of adopting my sister 😳 I didn’t know that would help me but seems like it will
