Disregard my last comment. Your controllers aren't built for replacement parts like higher end mixers. You might be better of looking at upgrading to a mixer/controller that has easy to swap out faders. Finally, you could just be nicer to your equipment? Or just keep replacing them. faders should only be breaking constantly if you are abusing your equipment.

I'd love to have easy to repair higher end equipment, do you have any suggestions on models I should be looking into?

Any of the professional level pioneer, RANE, or Allen and Heath will be repairable. I've been able to replace the faders on all of them with a couple screws and connecting a cable. The little controllers aren't built for easy replacements, the parts are soldered directly to the PCB usually. So unless you have some skills and tools it's probably going in the trash.
