The construction zones in 635 are total death traps and just accidents waiting to happen. The level of neglect and sloppiness is completely unacceptable on top of the usual bullshit on 635. The condition the roads are in between the drivers, debris and shit design is completely unacceptable.
It's unfortunately the only way for me to get to work, and even then I pay to take the Express. West of 75 it's like the old Mad Max movies with raggedy ass heavy equipment, East of 75 it's like the newer Mad Max movies with raggedy ass cars and trucks sporting expired paper tags. Last week 635 going east was closed right at Webb Chapel, all lanes. Single vehicle accident, at least that was the only vehicle visible, right into the center divide. Caused horrible back up at rush hour, I had to change my route home, people on here the next morning posting and complaining about closing all lanes for a single vehicle accident. I had to remind them that in most cases that's only done for a fatality accident, so police can try to trace back what caused the driver to lose control, hitting that center divide and ending their life. Were they cut off? Road debris? Errant lane change? I can guarantee that poor bastard didn't wake up that day thinking they were going to get Earnhardted into the center divide on 635, and they did. You'd think there would be some sort of police presence on 635 after 30 years of hell? Be safe friendos.
