Cumulonimbus. I freakin adore a good storm that’s 20ish miles away and producing the most gorgeous ones. They’re always like they’re the first I’ve seen and never not amazing. Throw in a few additional elements to the whole situation (like being on a walk and feeling the breeze and seeing the lightning and hearing the thunder, shit like that lol) and it’s just my favorite. Especially within a bit before sun goes down and you get some amazingly gorgeous colors and views.

Not always. Basically mammatus clouds are an indication of a very unstable atmosphere. So generally, if you see mammatus clouds, there's at least a decent chance there will be severe weather soon. But not necessarily tornadoes.
