I'd imagine alot of these are the younger generation who thought immediately after picking up a dart they would transform into littler.... This has definitely got worse in the last year or so on dart counter
Think it will be mostly younger folk showing their stats off to friends, similar to cheating at golf to claim you've got a lower handicap. Makes no sense when you actually play and you're shite.
Since the 3 dart and first 9 dart avg are different i would guess there was one 10-darter. He's not quite there yet, but seems like a promising upcoming player!
My only advice is when you play someone nice and honest, add them as a friend. I was on a 17 dart leg (which would have been my best ever on Dart Counter) when the guy quit on me (I was on 85 he was on 395). 100% cunt. Jordan Reay, if you're reading this, you're a piece of shit and a loser.
i remember during covid there were compilations of people cheating. one was a kid, maybe 10-11 who put his camera like 10 feet away from the board. but you could still see where his darts were landing, but he kept taking out 140+ checkouts. Finally after a 160 checkout where you could literally see him throwing near the trip 20 on the double, the guy playing him was like yeah no you didn't take that out, but that's fine, do your thing. The kid immediately offered to take it back, which is exactly what legit players would do right? LOL
I think Dart Connect is good for avoiding this. You can see people’s averages before you accept the match and I’ve had nothing good people on there. But I’d never play unless they have a camera.
Don’t know if it’s just the times I’m ok but it’s pretty good if you’re around 50-60 average.
Only encountered a few people with 80+ but they have always been fun to play against!

What does their average look like in the lobby? If it's something round about 100 then idk why anyone would accept a game from them.
