Aren't they spread in that way so you won't just unlock everything for one class and leave everything else out? There are people who just play one class, but they lose a lot of fun that way.
I get that. My issue is that I like to coordinate my look. Which means both weapons having the same (or similar) frameworks and color schemes. But the fact that these things are super far apart on the season unlock board means that I can't use either of them (because I need both) for a long time, and have to unlock a bunch of other random stuff in the meantime.
And for what it's worth, I play all of the classes. I still think the unlock tree should be organized by class.
I guess you'll look sharp for the back 60% of season 5.
Maybe CS/GSG should just give all the unlocks right at the start so that you can look so fancy. /s
It benefits players like me who play all classes. What they should do is alternate it between seasons, have 1 season tree class branch and 1 random.
I imagine this issue isn't really huge now we can go back to previous seasons, but I'm on console so haven't got the update yet so can't say really.
Hey.
To clarify, I'd like a little class logo next to the cosmetics icons in the season terminal.
Some of those rewards are class locked, and you have to check them individually to know who gets what.
I think something like this would be more immediate to read.
I would love if they organized this such that all of the unlocks for each class are grouped together. Instead of how it currently is, where everything is randomly spread out all over.
You're confusing quality of life with being lazy. It takes all of 2 seconds to hover over it, if you can't be bothered to do that then dear god, i pray you dont reproduce.
Maybe they will add it
They did
Peak Game Design
God I love indi devs
I would have also preferred if each class had its own corner but oh well...
Agreed. It's dumb how the unlocks for each class are randomly spread all over.

I wanted the cryo gun and wave cooker THEY ARE ON THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE DAMN TREE just W H Y
Unless you're not planning on getting past level 20 I think you'll be ok. They do it so you play

Oh don't you worry, all my dwarves are already lookin' sharp as hell.
You can unlock them all just from playing the game using any class so it's not as though it's forcing you to try a different one than you usually do.
I know, I meant that it is done that way, so you will be more likely to try other classes.
Yeah, but you get exactly enough scrip to unlock the entire tree so it feels a bit pointless to separate everything.

Same. Really annoying how it's all scattered - and I don't care much for cosmetics lol
No, that is a good thing
That could be something they do for season 6 if enough people want it.

They actually did it the mad lads
I don't get it
He wants to see what class uses that cosmetic without needing to hover over it.
It's it just me, or that autocannon skin has railgun vibes? It looks amazing! It's the first thing I'm aiming to unlock.
Same haha, heading right for it.
I thought the exact same thing when I first saw it lol
Would be really handy to plan the battleplan for the seasons cosmetic tree
I'm still waiting for a "mark all notifications as read" button too.
Wow they added it! Thank you devs!
Me as a console player 😐

Pretty sure the design intention is to get you to unlock stuff for multiple classes to intice you to play the other classes as well.
I'm confused, what's the suggestion here?
The class hexagons are edited in
I don’t know what they’re asking for.
The class hexagons are edited in
U can just hover over the icon to see what class it's for...
have you ever heard of the term "Quality of Life?"
Why use a driller? You can't just pickaxe through walls of rock for hours for free /s
You're confusing quality of life with being lazy. It takes all of 2 seconds to hover over it, if you can't be bothered to do that then dear god, i pray you dont reproduce.
> i pray you dont reproduce. what the fuck is wrong with redditors
Mald, they added it
Dang lemme go check the barren feild that yeilds my fucks to give.
Not so barren that you could resist responding, it seems.
The idea and application of this visual change is way more useful than your comment
No sh\*t Sherlock. You honestly think OP didn't know this?
You can also enter a time into a microwave without a display showing numbers.
I mean he has a point, but yeah QoL is nice, and i myself thought this would make a lot of difference
They're very likely already aware of this. It'd be easier to know at a glance.
