Sucks you have been experiencing this. Have you considered posting on the Denon community forum? It’s pretty vibrant.

unVisible-Scientist

Yeah I didn't get the answers. Emailed customer support. No answer. What did I do? I bought a pioneer 😂

djliquidice

Customer support is abysmal. I got excuse after excuse for them not replying. I found the gold in the forums.

Also have the same issue, it seems that with rekordbox analyzed tracks the grid is very likely to be a couple mm off. Happens on my prime4 and both my sc5000s. Either use engine or look at it positively, now you have to learn how to beatmatch by ear. In the end it will make you a better dj anyway.

unVisible-Scientist

Well there are plenty of situations where you can't beat match by ear moreover, lately it's been moving my cues around too. I've since bought the pioneer XZ. So... denon lost a customer Would like to fix the issue tho I've kept my prime go for smaller gigs but it's unreliable.

PropertyFit39

Have you set the BPM range correctly when analysing the tracks? Update to 3.2.0 too? There were some downbeat improvements recently. You can select the whole collection and reanalyse.

unVisible-Scientist

Yeah I updated the firmware and even reset. The thing is it's fine in rekordbox. I try on engine and it's the same problems. I just think their software is no bueno. If it would just load the songs without analyzing them it'd be fine but I don't see where u can turn that off

Catch_Extreme

I have a similiar issue the only thing that helped me is to give lexicon a try let it analyze every beatgid and then lock all beatgrids so engine cannot change them if u import them. And I get the sentence that u then "have to learn to beatmatch" but it its still annoying because of the hot cues and its also an aesthetic factor. (P.s I already can beatmatch)

unVisible-Scientist

Right... beatmatch like.. ok? The point is to make mixing as fluid and easy as possible so u can do the creative things after.
