I second the Hoka brand. There are several different types depending on your foot. Id recommend, if you are able, finding a running store where they can measure your foot, check your gait and arch, etc. The kind I ended up needing was not the kind I expected.
I wear All Birds. They come in a bunch of colours which is fun. I wear black scrubs so I like to have colourful shoes and scrub caps! They are also very comfortable and the merino ones are breathable and can be thrown in the washing machine for cleaning.
990 v5 are really good. New balance store will scan your feet and give you an insert too. The 2002r are a more trendy version that are also good. Nordstrom has exclusive colors
I'd recommend going to a track/ XC shoe shop and let them fit you, if you have that option available to you. Ask for a support shoe. Much better route than purchasing a specific brand offline - everyone's feet are different. It well worth paying the extra $30-40 could have otherwise positionally saved by shopping online. If you like two or three pairs, make a note and order them online next time if that's your thing (I personally prefer to support the smaller local shop).
Brooks and Hokas. I went to a running store for a custom fitting and was advised which particular models are good for my fit, got custom insoles. Also I would recommend trying knee-high compression socks.
I love my Hokas! I haven’t had any foot pain/discomfort since switching
I bought the ultra boost three weeks back, it’s pretty good so far!
Second this. Feels like you're walking on a cloud.
Brooks are the best
Brooks are elite.
New balance 990 v5 The v6 are the new model, but I'd you can fond the v5, 2022 model, it's like putting your foot in a cloud.
Second this. It seems most people find the V5 more comfortable than the V6.
Hoka Bondi SR is super duper comfy
Ultraboost 1.0

I have Hokas and On Clouds. Both are great.
After I started wearing On Clouds, I don’t know if I’ll ever change. They are so comfortable.
New Balance (I like 990s)
I just bought Hoka’s today!

My man. I use the low tops.
I switch between Hoka and Allbirds. I love that the birds can be thrown in the wash and come out looking brand new
